...And no, not the ones locked by Power Nodes. There are a goodly couple doors in this game which would be unlocked had the PC seen a release of Dead Space: Ignition. These contain (as far as I know) a couple different items/schematics (but I don't know which ones...) which would, it goes without saying, be awesome to have. I guess what I'm asking is whether or not there's some way, either through manipulation of a .ini or config file, to unlock these doors. I know there's a trainer from a rival site that can unlock these doors (I won't post the site, as it's against the rules, but on the Steam forums there's a link under the "Dead Space 2 RIG's" topic. They're pay-to-play anyway, so there's very little incentive to get one.).

TL;DR- Could the gallant folks at CheatHappens create such an option for THEIR Trainer? Or, alternatively, a "noclip" option where you can walk through walls? That'd be EXCELLENT!

EDIT: Hokay, there's a door towards the beginning with the schematics for the Hacker Suit and Hacker Contact Beam behind it. I'm hearing that there are more doors, but that's the only one I know of for sure.

    I second that request

I'd like to have the Hacker Suit and Hacker Contact Beam.

Is there no way to get them in the game without cheating? 🤔

I've been search engines, cheat sites & forums since I got the game, and so far I'd have to say no, there isn't any real way to get past doors like that w/o cheating in some way.

And while I'd really like to get the Hacker RIG and everything else that's behind that first door (and whatever else may be behind the others) I haven't seen any trainers or codes that will let you do that, aside from the one on the rival site mentioned before... but I'm not paying them $5 just for ONE trainer. And yea, that's how much they want for just the trainer.

If PWizard and the rest can come up with a way to add some kind of "Unlock All Doors" option to the trainer, then yay. If not, we'll either have to live w/o whatever is behind those doors, or hope someone else figures out a way to do it.

Yeah, this is what I've determined as well. The way to identify the doors us to check if there's a sign above it saying something like "Conduit Room". Apparently these all have something in them, from schematics to audio/text logs, to credits. I'd love to get some of the schematics, but until the folks here come up with an option to either unlock or walk through these doors, we're s.o.l., 'cause I'm pretty sure no one wants to spent $4.95 (plus tax, I'm sure,) on a trainer with ONE extra option. Heres to hoping PWizard and the gang can hook us up!

It also look like most of those rooms are found fairly early on in the game, since most of the ones you come across after Chpt. 8 or so that aren't where you're supposed to go don't have labels like that.
