even if I activate the option of unlimited movement, when a ship will take an army out of port, the ship loses all points of movement, so that I only have the option to destroy it.

I'm getting the same problem as well.
The same happened when I had the bad idea of lauching a saved game and moving a unit until zero movements point were left WITHOUT activating the unlimited moyement option before. Thus, even if I activate this option afterwards, this unit remains permenatly whithout any movement points at all regardless the number of turns I spend.
A bug that was never fixed since Empire : Total War.

-deactivate "unlimited movement" at the end of your turn -end turn -activate "unlimited movement"
