Anno 1404: Dawn of Discovery - Venice Message Board  

this is the thread for VENICE. i re-installed the game TWICE and ran the file integrity thing in steam TWICE. it still says 2.00.5008.

if you are SOMEHOW getting steam to update your game to another version i have NO IDEA WHY ours will not do this. perhaps someone can do some research into this as both pwizard and i are COMPLETELY DRAINED with responding to people regarding this game patching when it has NOT patched here. if you see some sort of posting or site or some reason why this is going on regarding THIS ONE GAME NOT PATCHING then let us know and we can look into it.

again, our trainer in this thread is for DAWN OF DISCOVERY VENICE and we have the GOLD EDITION which has both games installed. our trainer is for 2.00.5008.

until we get an update here i CANNOT UPDATE THE TRAINER! this is the third or fourth time we have uninstalled/re-installed this game over the months due to members telling us steam has updated only to find it hasn't updated at all here.

people who know me and know this site know that we update the trainers nearly instantly when they patch, so please understand that this cannot be helped simply because we have NO PATCH APPLIED yet by steam.

my game just patched to version 2.01.5010 any chance of new trainer for this version

The reason it appears some have been updated and some havent is to do with the european version of the game (Anno 1404) and the US version (Dawn of Discovery).

A friend of mine in Canada is still on the old version of his Dawn of Discovery where as my (British) version is now 2.01.5010

Consequently, multiplayer over the internet doesnt seem to work im guessing because of the difference in versions. We are still waiting for his version to get updated.

i have no real idea how patching works but could it be something to do with gold version vs seperate buys because my game has patched(gold version) but my friends game hasnt yet.

This is getting to be a real joke. Cheat happens has a lot of users and there is no reason for us to have to rely on any one else because they want to sell soft ware.
