win7-64, crash to desktop, please help on Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit PC Message Board - Page 1

Hi guys,

Could anyone advice me, i always have crash to desktop if trainer is activated, at the moment when choosing of the car should begin, before start of the race.

I know much about computers and was building them for 12 years, just out of any ideas what to try.

I have red the trainer troubleshooting page but nothing there helped. Tried running trainer and/or game in compatibility modes.

Is there anyone who successfully uses trainer with game patched to v1010 on windows7-64 bit?
And maybe someone had the crashes and found some workaround
My game is downloadable EA version.

Please help.

try both retail and steam version trainers. use no-cd fix. trainer is prob not compatible with EA download version.

thanks for reply, tried both steam and retail trainers.

So probably trainer is not compatible with ea downloadable nfs-hp.

Please let me know guys, if by chance anyone with EA-version was able to use the trainer,

Well that's not true I've got the EADM version and the trainer is working fine here. PS I use the normal 1.0.1.0 trainer (not Steam)

i just bought steam version on sale and it works fine with steam trainer, but never was able to use any trainer version with eadm, anyway thanks.

I got the same prob...
i got retail version and i found a nocd on someother site but it crashes down to desktop every time i start the trainer... (i also have win 7 64-bit and the lates trainer)

Same here...except I have the STEAM version and have tried all trainer versions, disabled AV too. Ran as ADMIN, Set compat to XP then to Vista all with no luck. There has to be something we all have in common that is causing the game to crash the second you hit F1 to initiate the trainer.
