when i try starting the trainer i get this error message "The trainer must be authenticated before it can be used. Please connect this to the internet or obtain an offline key from cheathappens.com then re-run the trainer." Now obviously i'm online if reporting this problem, why this thing doesn't recognize my internet connection i'm not sure why, it was only after AVG sent me a message to allow or disallow the trainer that i started getting this error message, i chose to allow this and i set it to remember my anwser if that matters, before that it just shutting the trainer rigtht down and i was getting one of the windows error report windows. How do i fix this?

can't i just disable it or somethin, and what about that error message, i downloaded the offline key from here on this site, but it just gives me some random set of numbers. what am i supposed to do with those, it's the earliest version of the trainers i downloaded btw, since this is the first time i've played FNV.

ok, i followed the instructions on using AVG with trainers and i downloaded the authentication code generator, used the code and downloaded the key to the same folder as i downloaded the trainer and the game exe. file, still getting the same message though.

Something on your PC is blocking the trainer from accessing the net and also blocking it from reading the offline key. You'll have to figure out what it is.

i don't know what it was, but i tried downloading the next version and that one worked just fine, aside from crashing my game, so i went back, deleted the other trainer, redownloaded it and it worked just fine too, aside from also crashing the game.
