Trainer freezes the levers you pull?

Is there a PC trainer for this game (or a trainer someone can make) that freezes those stupid, idiotic levers you pull and only have seconds to get to things like artifacts?

This absolutely makes the game VERY frustrating and SHOULD have had an option to turn those things OFF!
