I downloaded the game from the website but the trainer makes the game crash....could i be somehow be using dx10 mode ? how to do dx9? my card is dx10 enabled... also I have the gamersgate online save feature thing going.... if that does anything....thanks

I have the same problem...I think we need the trainer DX11 compatible!!!!

For those running under win vista/7: game usese dx11, so we'll have to wait until the new trainer release: with dx11 .exe the trainer says "trainer cannot find game" and with the other .exe it crashes. So be patient...

Will test to see if it's compatible with the 1.01 update, game is set to automatically patch but due to a problem or some such it does not do this automatically.

The \Hawx2\Support\GameUpdater file needs to be started, either one works but it's just as that they're tied to the two DirectX modes available depending on exe used to start the game.
(But as I said that doesn't work so it has to be started manually.)

EDIT: Hawx2.exe (DX9, DX10 and DX10.1 apparently.) crashes the game if the trainer is active when you try to go into the actual game from the main menu, can't test Hawx2_DX11 since I don't have the hardware but it seems to not be compatible anyhow as the details for the trainer mentions.

Trainer is tested and working with 1.01 NORTH AMERICAN DIGITAL DOWNLOAD VERSION. We have no idea how many other versions there are but we cannot test them or support them.

I'm installing the english version...maybe it works.... but I think all versions are the same, because ubi launcher update automatic from the web...

If that is the case then why are there two separate patches here:

european/Middle East/Asia patch 1.01 or
northamerican patch 1.01???¿¿¿
