Regarding the Ultimate Trainer 1.2.0.285, Unlimited Health, Bottlecaps, No En....

The trainer always seems to make the game itself crash a LOT. I cannot even sell/buy Items in the New Vegas area without it crashing. Anyone else been experiencing this??

Don't run with the infinite ammo option constantly on. Just use it once, fire whatever gun you need max ammo with to get it up the 999 ammo and then turn it off. Then turn it on again whenever you need more ammo.

The only reason the trainer would actually cause crashes would be due to either the 999 item issue (more of a game engine memory leak issue) or you entered a casino and they needed to take your weapon but the trainer kept the infinite ammo option on so the trainer kept trying to give you back your weapon and conflicted with the game.

Otherwise, you're crashing because Bethesda/Obsidian can't figure out how to make stable video games.

Game crashed for me, when ever I pick up Caps or recipes. Everything else seems to work fine though (so far).

I am using the German version of the game v 1.2.0.285. Whenever I activate the trainer using F1 in the main menu or anywhere else in the game, it hangs up.

Any hints or tips for me?

I would actually recommend using the console instead of the trainer if you want stability.

I noticed that tons of minute things get multiplied, especially meats or other random little drops from mobs. I'll have to try turning that part off and seeing if it still crashes.

As far as the console goes, what do I have to do to get that going again? It's not enabled from the getgo!
