The lag in this game right now that EVERYONE is getting has nothing to do with the world playing it is a known issue with the game that they claim they are fixing. if anyone is to blame....blame Microsoft for paying money to not allow beta on any other system but xbunk we are now beta testing the pc game on release.

no issues so far on single player......measly 9800GTX+, turned down a few settings, but Phenom 9950 and 6GB RAM. game is ok, slight reduction in FPS under heavy fire/enemy numbers....or swarming zombies.

Game runs smoothly with max settings, even with a bit older video card.

No graphical anomalies with Catalyst 10.10.

Man, I need to upgrade. I managed to get through the first stage (HUGE lags) and then it crashed...and crashed again...an crashed some more.

    My system ain't that big, running 1Gb 9500GT, 2Gb Ram, Core 2 Duo 2.2 (<-- Biggest problem) All DDR2.

It was enough for MW2, but clearly not for Black Ops.

It looks to be such a cool game.

Will upgrading the memory help for now? at least?

    Upgrading won't do squat!

    Game bug:

Engine utilizes the CPU to 100% and not the GPU resulting in massive lags. There are a couple of fixes out there, but apparently they don't do much. We have to wait for the game update/fix. So sad.....

Checked the steam forums. There are guys running i7 setups with Nvidia 4* series cards loads of RAM etc.. and they are getting horrible frame rates too. SOme guys are lucky, most it would seem not.
