I have gone through the troubleshooting page and can not seem to get this trainer to work. I am certain that I have the correct trainer for the version I have. When I start the game, steam starts up and seems to disable my F1 key.....as nothing happens when I press it in the game. There are no settings in the game that use the F1 key. I can press the F1 key before the game starts and the trainer tells me it cannot find the game. As soon as the "connecting to steam" window appears...the F1 key does nothing....I am running windows 7 and a quad core processor, nvidia gtx 290 video 8 gig of ram. latest creative sound...not sure where to go...

Goto Settings then Display - it lists the latest build version of the game - you need to make sure that the correct trainer is loaded.

disable/uninstall any AV, firewall or security software. run game and trainer as admin.

The trainer is not working for me either.
I have checked the game version, (retail disc).
It sucks that even though you own the disk, steam has to be involved.

I get the "activated" when pressing F1 at the main menu, but nothing happens for the cheat keys.

Why not just create your own cheats with a text file? It is by far better than a trainer and you still get achievements with them. You also can mod weapons and armor with the Geck that was released with Vegas right off. If anyone wants, I can send them a uber-powerful text file to use along with a mod that give certain weapons and one armor enormous power and two of the companions are near invincible.
