I found one possible fix if you ever had the problem that I did where using the Euclid's C-Finder would make the game crash to desktop. At the newvegasnexus website there's a mod for Heave Ho Fix, apparently having Heave Ho perk could make the game crash when you use the Euclid's C-Finder. I tested this mod and finally got the C-Finder to work.
