That is why i wait for them to come out with updates now before i even open that game or even buy it now. with fallout 3 it was bad. so they can kiss my but before i even go that way with that company.
Fallout 3 was perfect no probs with that at all for me. Even with the DLC's FO3 was an is still a GOTY in my books.

i think except for the GOTY part we're in agreement that FNV is still fun to play with some random glitches here and there
I had 2 CTDs so far. One was caused by some of my software that ran in the background. The other was also my fault. A few graphic glitches is all I get. Other than that New Vegas is running like a Swiss clock on my rig (which is 2 years old.)
See this is what I mean I barely have anything and others barely have any probs, But why are these other foke having such a bad time with it?
is anyone else here as disappointed in the PC games they put out. Once again Fallout New Vegas could have been a top notch game. But it has to many bugs. Anyone get missions that you cannot finish because of the game? yea yea I know use console to restart mission but then it crashes any way. Does anyone else get random crashes or old saves that will not work no matter what? Because of the dam saved game crashes I had to restart 3 times. Enough is enough there should be lemon laws for PC games. then again if they did they would never sell a game any way.
Am shocked that there are tones of people having issues. I even asked my buds at gameanyone and most are getting slight glitches. Like me I get slight glitches here and there but nothing that is serious. I love this game and it is certinly another GOTY in my books
No other game (besides maybe Alpha Protocol) in the history of PC gaming has reached over 80 pages in their tech support forums within 2 weeks of release of the game.
There aren't "only a few" people having slight issues. A good example of this is looking at the number of downloads the d3d9.dll has gotten just on Newvegasnexus. I don't even know how many downloads it has gotten before it was hosted on Newvegasnexus.
120,000 downloads of the d3d9.dll fix. This isn't just a minor glitch. This is a "I can't even start the game" glitch.
How big is 120,000 downloads?
The sales numbers for Fallout: New Vegas' week one was released. 1.4 million units sold. Only 90,000 units were sold on PC.
There were more downloads of the fix than there were units sold.
If you go by just the "unique downloads" statistic, the D3D9 fix has been downloaded over, 29000 times.
What's that come out to? 28.9% of all week one PC sales.
30% of players who bought the game can't even start the game.
And that's not even people are are trying to cheat with a trainer causing it to crash. It's people who can't even boot it up.
How can that be called "Game of the Year"?
