Not if it's in the middle of the night, and i'm max sneak, and you're sleeping.

I had a bunch of issues with CTDs, freezes and so forth. Updated system from win XP SP3 to Win 7 and latest drivers, works MUCH better.

Considering the amount of time I have put into this game I really haven't had all that many issues with it. Sometimes I will have issues but they haven't been all that much to yell about. This is an open game world so a lot of things are going on in the game world that don't go on in a linear game world. I for one am happy with what they put out. I also like a periodic game crash, helps me realize just how much time I've been playing. My last Fallout New Vegas binge lasted me 10 hours strait. Had it crashed I would have stopped long before that. I feel for the most part the game's problems fall into hardware or OS issues. When I first got Fallout 3 GOTY I was using Windows Vista Ult. Couldn't play it 5 minutes before it crashed. I upgraded to Windows 7 Ult and no more crashes.

Withouth the first 4 patches the game is unplayable

Well no problems ever. And it was a first with the Fallout series. Even in 1 i remember being stuck in black screens with my character only visible. New vegas... really no problems. Fallout 3 had some issues.

What type of systems are people running this game on? I've a reasonably sweet system, and the main issue I had was the stuttering throughout the game. This was fixed by re-downloading the d3d9.dll from Microsoft site.I'm aware that there is a "hotfix" file floating about on the net. Without this fix, can anyone let me know if the updates have remedied these issues? Anyone else find this game a bugger to install correctly, ie: without running away with graphic drivers etc.

Not had any mayjor problems even my ghost ghoul was fixed
