I can repair ranged weapons fine but am I doing something wrong or is it the trainer that melee weap

Repair melee weapon?

I can repair ranged weapons fine but am I doing something wrong or is it the trainer that melee weapons wont repair? And if it is the trainer can we get one in the future that will?

not sure not tried it on melee weaps
