Anyone else get the problem where the game crashes every 5-10 minutes?

Yes it crashes big time

It's probably because you leave the unlimited ammo option turned on. I turned it off and no more crashing. Instead just turn it on when you want 999 of a particular item or ammo and the turn it off again.

i encounter that problem when i am recieving something or going into a casino but never when im just walking around, new update seems to be the cause

i havnt had that issue but i dont use all the trainer options, just health really. I find that mods are a bit easer to deal with (if they all get along that is. )

run it a little while without the trainer and see if it keeps doing it.

(it may also be a thermal issue, the game is quite the GPU hog..might check your temps when running the game. I get about 34C for my cpu and 50ish for my GPU.)

I haven't even USED the trainer and I get a crash anywhere from 30 seconds to about 15 minutes after loading the save from my first char, who has reached Novac and done the quest for the guy in the dino's mouth.

I started a new char and played for over an hour and didn't crash once.

I think the 2nd patch has created issues with older saves maybe? Either that or there's item(s) or perk(s) that are crashing the game.

It happened once or twice before getting to Novac, like after hours of play. So between that fact, and the not-crashing-on-new-char thing... I doubt that the real issue is overheating.

I'm having the same issue, i have two saves that won't load out of the blue, one them straight crashes to windows the other pretends to load but 5mins later and nothing.

I just half a(( beat the game on my ps3 with lags and freezing, but the pc so far is the most stable version.

Based on what I've been reading on the 'net, it appears any number of different things that can cause crashing. Some people have had their issues resolved by downloading the d3d9.dll file that's going around.

Some have said that finishing a quest that normally adds a SPECIAL or Skill point to a maxxed out stat or skill will cause the game to repeatedly crash.

Needs some heavy patching, that's for sure.
