Fallout: New Vegas Message Board  

Every time I use a cheat the game works until I have to quit, but when I come back to the game the game freezes at the loading screen after choosing the saved game. I get the audio from the radio but the screen is frozen on the loading screen. The only way to play then is to start over from the beginning. I get the same thing if I use the trainer.

thats...unique. Havnt heard of this bug. Might double check your settings. have you tried lowering the graphics options and reduce the load on your gpu and such? just ..sounds like a mem glitch thats messing with saves. ..but im not an expert.

have you updated to the update2 version. The savegames were bugged after update1.
If that doesn't help, you might need a reinstall.

Well I just took a shot in the dark doing this, but hey its something. I had a feeling that Steam was interfering somehow so I downloaded and installed a crack so I can run it without Steam. So far it seems to be working. Although the trainer is now crashing the game at random moments. The console cheats are still working, and load the save with no issues.

Strange how you say Steam is interfering with the game. Cause I certainly am not having any issues at all while Steam is on while I play and am not using a crack or any mods to the game.

Dont overcheat! if you change your skill points from 2nd level to eg 60 and you add some special points to your Special... the free add levels you get from quest will glitch the game!

Like VampireTM: Bloodlines and Fallout 3. you cant start with 100 in all skills. or 10 in all Specials. First you lose scenario rewards and secondly it crashes! dont over do it!

I honestly don't know what is going on, all I know is what I see. With the crack I'm fine, without I crash.

Right What version of the game are you ruining?
