It was an alright game but they released it way too soon. Bethesda needed to slow down and just push the date back so that i could run alittle smoother atleast.
I love fallout to death but waiting a couple minutes for a 10 second to the vegas gate killed me
Obsidian is the blame, not Bethesda, as Obsidian developed it and Bethesda simply is the publisher this time around. Like Oblivion and its bugs, 2K Games developed that one with Bethesda being the publisher. Fallout 3 was reasonably well developed by Bethesda before release, but it was kind of buggy too, but not like this.
Obsidian employees (their history below) have a history of bugs and not well tested releases, though this game isn't anything like Fallout 3, since Vegas is all over the place with quests. Getting achievements in this game is a serious chore and doesn't flow with the weak storyline. Seriously, who thought up of the idea to have 5 different ending achievements, in an attempt to make gamer have to play it out that many times to get them? Unlike Fallout 3, where you got the main quest-line achievements as you progressed through it. You can create a save where you can start at a point in the game to get the different ending achievements, but it is still a big hassle.
Just to offer a little history:
Black Isle Studios,(a subsidiary of Interplay) did the first two Fallouts in the late 90s. But right at the beginning stages of developing Fallout 2, the three main guys on the team left to form a new company (Troika Games 1998-2005) over disputes. Their company went under. The remaining Black Isle employees went on to found Obsidian the same year Black Isle went defunct, 2003, and here were are.
I always seem to get Rad Scorpions glitching under the floor in the desert which doesn't help anything. I also went to the NCR correctional facility to get a new sheriff and he gliched into the wall which made it impossible to complete the quest.
There seems to be all sorts of bugs that need patching which just downgrades an otherwise excellent game.

Yep, confirmed! Also, how about Protectron robots 'warping' out of their enclosures. Save often and in different slots folks, so if it screws up, you can at least go back a bit and try again :P
