Fallout: New Vegas Message Board  

im used to the manual save mode anyhow with fallout 3. With so many mods running, even with the script extender and CASM i made manual saves.

i just expect crashes from giant games like this.

only problem i am having is when i click continue from the main menu it does not load my latest save so i just have to click load instead other than that its working fine. I have been able to quick load from quick saves without a problem and when i have gotten killed it loaded my quick save without issue

My game is not autosaving either but maybe its the hardcore mode who does this cus i'm playing it? Anyone tested it?

@Tnor: again, this is happening to hundreds, if not thousands of people so it is a very real issue, even steam confirmed it last night. if it's not happening to you then your damn lucky.

@furb456: pretty sure that it still auto saves in hardcore, just make sure you do your manual saves.

From what I've read, it's due to Steam Cloud. Disable Steam Cloud and you should be fine for saving without fear.

Steam cloud was what did it for me too. Once I disabled that made a new quick save, it kept it just fine upon restarting the game several times.

Seems I am having the complete opposite happen, my quicksaves work just fine but the manual save crashes the game each time i try to load it and I am using steam
