Hey guys.
I'm playing elemental with the latest patch. I can't get the trainer to save ANY edit I do to stats. Each time I press F1 to save the changes, all I hear is that horrible booming "ACTIVATED!". Why oh why did the authors use that same button for save as they did to activate this program.
I spent good money on becoming a member here, so if anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it.

Completely uninstall your AV, firewall and any other security software. Run game and trainer as ADMIN.

Thanks very much for the fast reply.
I uninstalled my AV and firewall. Both the game and trainer were run as admin in several different compatibility modes. I am still having the exact same problem no matter what permutation I try. The trainer is turned on with F1 and says "Trainer Activated". I then start the game, select my guy, open her stats, press F9, edit everything, and then press F1 to save. When I press F1, the trainer says "Activated". In other words, it's telling me that it's turned on. I close my stats screen, reopen it, and nothing has changed. I keep trying different ways to get this to work. Nothing has helped.
I ask again, why is the same key that turns the thing on used to try and save the info? It's really messing things up.

Tens of thousands of other people using the trainer and no one else has complained.

Chris, that reply just minimizes the problems that I’m having and fails to address my concern in any way. Since I posted I realized that I was mistaken about the f1 key. In fact, none of the trainers other buttons work either. The program detects the game, but fails to make any in-game changes. I'm perplexed.
I gave a list of the things that I have tried above. Is anything out of place? Is there something else I should be doing?

The only thing I can think of is that something on your PC is blocking the trainer from functioning. AV, firewall other other third party software.

Try this but it my not work but well try everything else lol.
Start/run/msconfig/startup/
uncheck everything then restart your computer.
When computer starts up try the game and trainer again.
This will make everything at startup turn off.

Thanks very much to both of you. I have given your suggestion a try but it still hasn't worked. However, I appreciate the help you have both tried to offer. It means a lot.
