Does this game have a full story line in the single player mode or just seperate BOTs?

It does have a full story campaign, you can choose to play with up to 3 ai team members (no online since your using trainer). One thing Im not quite sure about is why you can alter the number of ai team members, is there any benifit to playing without them? How does the game compensate for having less firepower i wonder, if it all

ai team members replace offline friends when u wanna play (if u have 3 friends online u can host a game with 0 boots )

i get that, but when i chosoe to play in offlien mode, and setup a single player game, the game knows there arnt any real real people goign to be on my team, yet it still gives me the option of having 0 to 3 ai controlled team members. I tried with 0 and you have no team, they are still on the screen, but ehir life bars dont show up top. Im trying to work out what the point of it is.

The point's simple, some objectives in the game (coughCHapter3cough) aren't really completable completely solo, so the AI members step up to the place when that happens. They don't help much, but at least they contribute some.
