"In a interview with Shacknews conducted during BlizzCon 2010 this weekend, Blizzard's lead producer Chris Sigaty stated, " ... it is possible that we can identify people that use some cheat to get 100 achievements in a matter of seconds."
--- The SC2 CH Trainer doesn't do that. Therefore, there is no need to worry about that.

If Blizzard doesn't drastically improve their attitude towards SP cheaters befor their next game release, I fear WoL will be the last Blizzard product I buy.
"He added that players should beware of using any trainer program, saying, "The people releasing these hacks might be including keyloggers and other sorts of hacks on your system"."
While this has proven to be true with some MP "hacks" in the past, It's worrying that they continue to paint all trainer makers(Which to Blizzard seems to be the same as a hacker) with the same brush.

I am never playing SC2 again on principle. Blizzard is out of their minds. Im not buying another product either. They have gone to far.

Me personally i never play on-line games i love using cheats its gets me the whole story line and game completed, however the no-goods are the BANDITS that cheat in multiplayer mode they are the low down mob that gives us single players a bad name, as for Blizzard i will NEVER purchase another game from that company, they are lower than the cheaters in Multiplayer.

I agree that cheating in multiplayer must have a HOLY GOD WAVE OF BANNING. But single player? Just beacuse of the achievements? ROTFL...
Btw, those achievements don´t even give you any type of bonuses, so this is ridiculous. That´s one of the reasons I got refund by Blizzard.
Starcraft II has been wiped out from my computer with 100% reg cleaning now.

what will happen is that the previously legit players who purchased the game before will download cracked or warez versions of the game so they wont lose their 60 bucks to some lame ban. this is the future for the series of this game. i hate to say it, but blizzard is actually going to cause more people to get ahold of illegal or warez copies of this game so they can play it without fear of banning.
my 2 cents.

So how many people have been confirmed banned for single-player cheating?

I do agree that Blizzard has gone a little to far but that is no reason to completely stop playing the game or not buy anything from the company. That kind of behavior doesnt make you any better than them. If you dont wanna use the cheat codes already placed in the game than that is your problem, not theirs.
