Saint´s Row 2 Message Board  

I just installed the game today, and I'm stuck at the first menu. It just scrolls on its own through the options, and if I press return, it will go in that menu, and then cease to respond to input. If I open the task manager, it pulls itself over the task manager, and scrolls through the new menu really fast, only responding to inputs from the W and S keys, which slow the scrolling down temporarily. It does not respond to any other buttons. I've unplugged the keyboard and mouse while it was doing this, it seems that neither of them are giving it the bad input. I didn't get the steam version, and I'm not planning on patching it if I can avoid it. Any help to be had here?
