Patrician 4 Message Board  

Patrician IV is a pretty neat game in ways. But in other ways I like Patrician 3 better. Patrician IV in my opinion, which isn't worth a lot,lol does not have superior graphics to Patrician 3, in fact I like P3 graphics much better. P4 isnot as easy to operate as former versions, though it is easy enough to learn how to handle. Fortunately, Patrician IV even though it contains no cheat codes, does allow the making of a trainer which works. Thanks Chris, your trainer works fine and I have no problems with using it. Unfortunately I have never found a trainer for Patrician 3 which works right. Most do not work at all. I could only play P3 because of GameCheater, an excellent program from Russia, which will handle almost any money cheats. Unfortunately I lost the editor when I had Windows XP reinstalled, and for some reason writing the Game Cheater people no longer works, not even if you attempt to buy another copy. I lost $40.00 on this and still haven't gotten any answer. GC works well on Patrician IV too but after 15 days I will no longer be able to use it. The CD which was supposed to contain the full version, doesnot. If I could get this editor back again I would be a happy camper but, no one seems to know anything about it and I never did understand how to use CoSMOS or Art Money two editors which probably would replace Game Cheater. Anyhow, I will play only P4 after the 15 days expire and use PWiz's trainer so all is not lost besides my forty bucks and a hundred emails or so to the Game Cheater people.

Thanks bigcosy, Vadim finally got one of my emails and sent me the key to game cheater once again. Something prevents most of my email from reaching him. What this is I have no idea. He did a special link for me in the event I had this problem again, so I can now download GC from this. Thanks anyway. And really, that game is almost more trouble than it is worth. Nothing like PT3 at all and not nearly as much fun.

Hey. How do you use artmoney in Patrician 4? I am familiar with how it works but I keep getting two money locations. I first start searching for 30,000, the default amount of money at the start of the game. After I purchase something, I start searching for the new money value, say 28,054. However, no matter how many purchases I make and how many times I filter the locations in artmoney, I always get two. Any changes to their values don't show up in the game. Do you think you could post a little tutorial? Thanks.

Cheat o Matic and Game Wizz 32 works fine on Patrician 3.
And you are right 3 is better then 4.

Try Patrician 4 downloaded from Steam, then update to version 1.2, the join cheat happens.com as an unlimited member and download the latest 1.2 trainer. You will be singing a different tune. Kalypso, the game developer, seems to be listening to the message boards and making improvements and fixing bugs. This never happenned in Pat 3 or Pat 2.
