Okay guys.. whats your opinion about FME?

Ive been a fan of Front Mission since FM3 on PS1 and FM4 on PS2 and they were both GREAT, but the transition to 3rd person shooter??? wtf Square!!!?

In any case, ive heard quite a few bad things about it..

1: Only 5 Chapters, thats just lame if its true..
2: Multiplayer sucks due to lag and rocket spamming?

And a few other things that basically say the game sucks..

Ive been thinking about getting it, but due to what people have been saying i think i might wait until it goes down to like $30 or something..

So what you guys think?

I would suggest that you don`t waste your money on this, wait for MechWarrior(5). The game has failes in almost every aspect possible.

Well on Multiplayer there always going to be cheaters but yes theres theres alot of rocket spamming. So if a new person and get xp to upgrade weapons and all that is about impossable. People with more xp will always hit you with three or four hits you will die. Better off just grouping with friends and play. The game play in single player could say its short lol. If knew it was going to be this bad and not alot in detail for mech parts. Plus theres not that much to customize. Still they need to have the Edge system in multiplayer that would be so wrong but oldly to say, then again it cool lol. I say wait till it lower in price about half or less if you ask me.

Yes one last thing for people do have the game want to get exp in multiplayer mode easy talk to me. I am willing go on just let you kill me for fun of it so you will get exp. Yes at times I am that bored watch myself die over and over lol.

I just think they turn it down for the younger kids to play. Thats how it seems to me.....

This game is a major disappointment to the FM series. I expected much more from Square Enix than this below average generic shooters.

I bought it cause I missed the Mechwarrior Series, it could be better. Like whats the use of blowing off arms if they can still shoot at you, you shoot out the legs they don't slow down at all, like they said bout 5 chapters. Destroying the arms decreases enemy accuracy and damage for hand-held weapons, and destroying the legs SEVERELY reduces mobility (Basically standard walking speed goes from 20MPH to under 4MPH, and skate speed from around 60MPH to under 15MPH), which is most noticeable with Brawlers and Light enemies.

Most sucks about this game is the price for a mediocre gameplay. 5 acts or chapters and good luck with the multiplayer, and Mechwarrior 5 TBA since last year.

Maybe on multiplayer, but in the single campaign I hit a lot of brawlers on the legs and they still closed on me like nothing happened but since I been a fan of Mechwarrior blowing off an arm meant any weapons on that arm were gone, no more fire from that left/right arm. Take out their legs they were history, they would topple over. I know it's comparing apples to oranges, but I also liked the wider array of weapons you could carry in Mechwarrior( could carry weapons on arms, left,right,center torso and shoulders. But I do believe it's this type of feedback that can only serve our overall needs to press them to hopefully make better games, improvements, cause if we keep taking what they give us, they'll be content with taking our money, and they won't strive for that next level. Over the years I've seen modders do awesome at times jaw dropping things with games. So these Professionals should be able to do a bit better. What make this so funny some game companies has made sure to allow their source code to be readily available to modders so they the modders can actually improve upon their games. Slick ain't it
