I hate steam because I hate having to log in to play my games. I don't play games that require steam for multiplayer, I play only singleplayer games. And having to log in to play a single player game is annoying to me.

i've been using steam since it's creation and i gotta say i've seen it been amazing and i have also seen the exact oposite from it, as far as im concerned it's great i live in a rural area so going out to purchase games can be quite a pain. so steam is an amazing tool, well for me that is.

Once you active it from steam you can play the game offline. Also Steam is 1000x better then GFWL.

You are aware of Steam's Offline mode right?

Inside Steam, click the Steam Menu item > Go Offline... works great on my laptop I can play every steam game without checking in with Steam.
