F1 2010 Message Board  

My feelings are that there is not enough meta gameplay. The interviews were a nice small addition though what I was hoping for was more of that. Celebrations, some kinda better dealings with other drivers, doing promotional events. This would have been great and would have added to the game. As of right now though I'm on my second season and getting kinda bored because of this. Don't get me wrong, the racing is fine, if not dated, it just feels like GRID. It also occasionally locks while loading between the track and the menu/paddock. For $40 on Steam I didn't feel super disappointed I just felt like it could have been so much more.

Oh, and the one thing the game does great is the rain looks amazing. So again I ask, what did you think of the game?

I'm truly missing a Safety Car and more (I'd say ANY even) crashes, failures in the races.

what do you think of multiplayer? It's very difficult to come in a server. and there aren't very much servers?!

It's great game and finaly F1 for PC again.
I miss some features, but i am sure they will add them in next version.
Only thing annoys me are the bugs, even if i wasn't affected by them till now. (played 2 hours)

Bugs, still waiting for a patch. The game was rushed out to meet a deadline. You got to be a fan to enjoy this type of game vs NFS. Not for me though too much repetitions. The only good thing about this game is for my son to learn how to drive. Because the rules said no touching, slamming, and intentionally crashing you opponents. Perfect!

My opinion of F1 2010:

I believe this is a great title-launch for Codemasters. Overall, the game's features outweigh the game's faults.

I have not noticed any deal-breaking bugs; the pit-lane issue is easily worked around. In my experience, the game has been stable.

I am more than satisfied with my purchase of F1 2010.

Codemasters confirmed that a patch is in progress for F1 2010.


My only complaint is that car damage is not as spectacular as it was in GRID.

Question: How is the handling in the game? I hated DiRT 2 for this reason - Poor handling.
