Wait so what you guys are basically saying is that, LEGALLY, we are technically allowed to use a trainer because a trainer just does what a cheat does.
Not trying to start an argument, but say we were to take this to a more official broadcasting (fighting your ban, etc) can't they just say that "Well, while that may be true, the cheats we implemented were to allow for people to just enjoy it, and by entering a cheat, it removes the ability to gain an achievement. A third person program such as a trainer or a hack, while may give the effect of said cheats, they still allow a player to get achievements. This conflicts our EULA because (insert something Blizzard-like here)"
Aside from that, this deal with the bans and what not would be greatly appreciated if anyone can give their input on what's going on...
I think it's still shakey on the whole matter because the people who got banned just say they got banned while not giving any detail whatsoever on what the status of the trainer was at.
Knowing Blizzard, the bans are given instantaneously to about 2 hours... Though I have no idea about Starcraft 2. As somebody said earlier, Starcraft 2 is a one-payment-no-profit game and therefore, they have no reason to listen to unsatisfied customers.

"Starcraft 2 is a one-payment-no-profit game and therefore, they have no reason to listen to unsatisfied customers."
There was few people did say they did not cheat / trainer who got ban. What it comes down to they can ban people for fun of it, even if it look kind of wrong for those who did not hack. So really power hungry companys, say hay look at all those people if we give around 5,000 thats just less then 1% test drive see how many people will buy it. They know over half of 5,000 people will rebuy it.
It is none profit yet they knew people will cheat in single player mode reason they put the single player in a server. They learn from StarCraft the first one came out. How many people would fall under that. So really its just a scam to make money.
This is not entirely true. Firstly, like the first Starcraft there are THREE campaigns, of which only ONE has been released. This means that more then likely there are going to be TWO more at near or the same price as the original price of Starcraft II.
Secondly, they are going to be releasing premium maps that you (more then likely) do have to pay for.
Thirdly, there are competitions of which people pay to enter, some proceeds go to Blizzard. There is still quite a lot of business to be made off Starcraft, so there is still good reason to listen to disgruntled customers.
I've given up on them, until they have given up on Robert Kotick and the likes, which will probably never happen.

PWiz, I'm totally on your side in this. I agree with everything you said in the OP.
If you need any help in this regard, don't hesitate to ask us. We'll be more than willing to help.
+1 on this, game companies need to lighten up about single player cheating, I mean the only possible 'sign' of hacks is that people who finish the game on expert/insane/whatever super hard mode is get Kerrigan for a display pic, but thats designed to be achievable without the trainer options anyway. It's just stupid that they're getting fussy over something that effects nobody but ourselves who bought the game to play it how we want and how we enjoy it - with invincible armies of GODLYNESS!!!! (in singleplayer of course, I never bothered with multiplayer once yet and probably never will)
Well not worry about battle.net for a while. Been playing Front Mission Evolved pass the time and watching some anime.
post made earlyer : Yes I know there was others I just had the first one came out then didnt have a computer long time. First computer died. So really I didnt keep up with alot of games back then. Just know the game it self was great game. It reminded me of 7th Legion. A game before starcraft ever came out lol.
7th Legion is a real-time strategy computer game for Microsoft Windows, developed by Vision Software and Epic Games and published by Microprose in 1997. The game consists of two single-player campaigns and supports multiplayer online games.
Is 7th Legion freeware? Or is there anywhere decent to purchase it from? I googled but couldn't find anything conclusive either way :/
