I'm guessing CH doesn't plan to make a trainer for this game (it's a pretty small indie release so I can understand why) so I whipped up a simple trainer (my first ever!) for the steam version:

    www.voodoochat.com/ddtrain.exe

freeze health, unlimited movement, boost attack power, always critical, and freeze turn counter.

Has to be run as admin (it will have vista/7 prompt you when you run it) and is ASPacked, on the off chance you use a low-brow AV that cries when it runs into a packed file. I figured it was worth it to have the filesize reduced by 62%

No idea if it works on non-steam versions, sorry!

Thanks for this, unfortunetly when I tested it. It doesn't appear to work at all, it finds the game and that's about it. Also using windows XP still so didn't need to do mess up with vista or 7.

I basically did is; start the game, activate at the menu and ingame activated the options.

Forgot to add that it is the STEAM version.

Weird! I will stick DD on an XP machine and do some testing. The admin stuff isn't something you'd have to mess with either way - I included a manifest in the program that tells the OS to run as admin (with user permission of course) if possible.

For testing purposes, the easiest way to see if its working is to toggle on the Infinite Movement option when its your turn. If its working the move meter on all your dwarves should be changed to 50/50 instantly. It updates the display automagically and instantly (kudos to the devs for that - made it much easier).

Tested all of the options, none worked. Used Red Team and Blue Team in two seperate maps if that matters any.

Shouldn't matter, no. I tested it with all four colours of teams, and on multiple maps before posting it just in case. That said, I'm on a Win7x64 machine... I didn't think that'd change the pointer path, though.

Tomorrow I'll ask my wife where she's hidden the power cord for the XP-based laptop I have and have steam download DD to it so I can test the trainer on that to see if I can duplicate the problem, and if so, I guess I'll find a solution to it!

I finally got the XP machine running and sure enough the trainer isn't working on XP. I will see what I can do about that - my XP machine is a netbook so it is all sorts of fun navigating anything with graphics
