I don't know if I'm just blind, but all I see are trainers for the retail version of the game. I saw a topic that said the steam version had been posted, but I do not see it anywhere...?

All of the current trainers are for the STEAM version. Match the file version up with the correct trainer.

The game will tell you which verison game you have at the bottom right hand corner, at the main menu screen.

The current steam version is 1.3.15.112 which there is no trainer version for. Thanks for the reply, though.

I tried the other trainers just for kicks, crash city or in some cases nothing appeared to happen.

The current steam version (as of TODAY) is 1.3.5.122 for U.S. users. Matching trainer is tested and working fine.
