I located the save file location for Steam user. It is located inside your userdata in your steam folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\7720148\43000\remote\7720148 however i tried with the saved file provided the game is unable to open it. Anyone here using steam and have complete all the act? or at least the aircraft carrier act if so may I have your save file?

Found a fix to the corrupted savegame bug, if it hasn't been posted before.
Just start the trainer, then the game, then during the cinematics activate all the options you have when you last saved your progress. It has worked for me!

I can confirm this.
My save messed up but when I next started the game I activated all the options I had on before even getting to the main menu.
Now it's fine.

I finally finished the game in "hard" setting, just to find out that non of the acts had been saved even the in-game achievements, reason my LAN cable was disconnected. I played on unaware that it was. 🤔
Btw, i am using the STEAM version of the game.
The other set back i found very disappointing is just before certain acts, the game reverts back customized wanzers into default setting. I just cannot understand why this happens. The only blessing is that i am using the trainer. Without it this game would suck big time.
I might want play it just one more time and then remove it forever from my drive.
SquareEnix, this game is a total disappointment for USD64.90/= (retail version).

One thing for sure... not only its so crazily difficult & confusing to just find its save game location but also the game is so short & without any skirmish or bot mode... its feel shorter
They should create & design the save game file to be easy to be identified & easy to be located so gamer can back up their save games especially if the game had a minor tendency to crash
