I cant get these trainers to work. either it crashes my game or just does not work.

Well here are some thoughts, you could ether start the game and when it gets to the main menu push Alt-tab and then start the trainer from there. When i start the trainer before i start the game it take awhile to load the game for some reason. I hope this works!
