anyone know where I can find the list for the Easter eggs.

I know of the one with MstCheif,

There's a secret room in the level where you have to defend Halsey while she decrypts data. It's really hard to get to and you need more than 1 person to do it - Link

there are data pads that kinda put a second story into the game, there are 19 of them 10 of which can only be found on legendary difficulty. just get on youtube and search halo reach data pads

does it changed the story or add to it?

They tell a separate story, like the Terminals in Halo 3 and the Audio Logs in ODST.

The only difference this time is there's no achievement for getting them all.
