got a similar bug but with me, I cant equip the mercy gun. and its ****ing me off with the stygian fight, anyone got a solution for that or a save just after the fight ?

Just can't really use xblade or mercy I can at least get the xblade to work for one throw then I have to go through this reset routine to get another throw but since I got mercy I have to been able to equip it. I've been able to pass through all the puzzles that need the xblade by sure luck (did you know immolate can set those bombs off too, lights torches, etc) but now at the practice worm in ashlands I can't even use mercy on foot or horseback. this is seriously game breaking. Just can't say for sure if it's the trainer or the game. But there is no way I'm starting over...... any help would be great.

oh when I try to eqiup mecy war just has his hand out there like he's gripping the gun but no gun in hand and of course it does not fire.

I can confirm that the crossblade/gun issue is fixed if you update your game. I had no more problems after the update

How do you "update" the game?

is there a patch out? I couldn't find one

I cannot pass even the first worm as I have the same issue thats even on the xbox and ps3.
my hand sticks out.. I can hit it once in a while if I try hard with the crossblade..

but the mercy gun just holds my hand out with a click click

there is no update that has worked..
if the game updated it did so itself.

This game was really getting to that kiss point of gettting all the goodies and whooping bum..

I updated the game. Still got the crossblade bug. But I am using my old save. Do I have to start a new game so I can equip the crossblade again? Not sure if I want to play through it again only to find out it still wont work.

Having the exact same problem as Kaldire...

I can use the crossblade when needed but when I try to use Mercy (the gun) the character just stands there with his hand lifted - it looks like he's grasping a gun, but the hand is empty.

I suspect it has something to do with Ruin (the horse). When the horse is first obtained this problem surfaces, and when I'm on Ruin the game constantly attempts to equip the gun (which can be heard by the equipping-sound of Mercy).
Perhaps this is what causes the bug in the first place?

I'm fully aware that this might not have anything to do with the trainer, but I'd very much like to hear if anyone here has a fix for the problem!
