1.6 version trainer crashes right after start
1.7 version trainer crash the game right after hitting f1
tried with steam version of the game
I'm in the same boat. Both crash and say Windows has stopped working. I can't get the trainer to even work. Steam copy here. Bought about three days ago.
Edit: I tested it again today and still nothing. I even deleted my anti-virus thinking it might have been conflicting, but same error.

I do have the same problem.
I'm on Win 7 64bits
With careful configuration of my different programs and antivirus/firewall, My CH trainers never ever crash and always work as intended (and there is quite a lot of them, over 150).
Yet, I just reinstalled Dead Rising 2 and downloaded the latest Dead Rising 2 trainer that I could use (01.06.2011) and it crashes at launch.
Now I am quite surprised. I tried many workarounds.
I uninstalled my codec packs and dug thoroughly through my comp to get rid of unwanted codecs. I checked that every program is up to date. I rebooted after every installation, cleaned my registry, but to no avail.
Although my antivirus is setup to leave my dear dear trainers in peace, I tried to disable, then uninstall my AV and it's still not working.
The trainer is always run as admin
The dead rising 2 trainer keeps crashing immediatly at launch, which is weird, cause I distinctly remember using the 10.08.2010 version of it without an hitch (although I was on Win XP 32 bits at the time).
Any chance of a hand from Caliber and PWizard ?
Edit :
After more investigation, it seems the crashing occurs on some others trainers as well. I will reiterate this post in the feedback thread if it's no bother to you, with the list of trainers that are crashing. Maybe a common thread among those trainers might be enough to find what is the problem.

Turn, out, it was a sneaky IE10 install that bothered me. All is good and well again. Thanks to kingkob for the help.
