So I finally got around to reinstalling Civ 5 again because I wanted to play it again and decided to mess around with this trainer. Have the GOTY edition for Steam and most of the options seem to work.

I can't seem to get the policy points option to work though. No matter how I attempt to activate policy points, whether it's by within the city and leaving it or what ever order, I can't actually increase it mostly because it seems like the policy points are based on culture points which seems to be unaffected by the trainer.

Additionally, as the game progresses, instant research and instant research also becomes harder and more difficult to use. It looks like rather than actually providing an "instant" function, the way these work is adding science and production points but as the game gets to late stages if you actually want to "cheat" with the instant functions, you're left sitting there pressing the instant button, clicking you city, and then leaving your city about 15-20 times which is made super long by the apparent delay in the ACTIVATED -> DEACTIVATED of these two functions.

That said, as you can see, i'm a paid subscriber to the site so I do support the work you guys do, so please don't take this as rawr, this sucks. It's more like a first world problem thing.

TL;DR - Policy points don't work, instant research, instant building eventually becomes annoying to use because not actually instant.

The trainer was not designed for the GOTY edition of the game. You may have to resort to using a No-CD fix.

Apologies for being a bit of an idiot on this, but mind enlightening me on how i'd pull off a no-CD workaround on a Steam version of the GOTY to work with the trainer?

After pressing F1 in main menu, the sound of trainer (trainer activated)hangs up, trainer doesn't work.

thanx for making trainers....

i have a problem with trainer for civilization 5 last version (without the extension).

when i try the options 3 to 8, the trainer says at the same time "activated" and "desactivated" or "activated" and few seconds after "desactivated".

And when i choose the 8 options, in the game i can't move the units.

I try with no av and firewall and run with the admin right.

i can't get faster building creation to work, it does't seem to work on wonders building, also can you add in the options of getting a great person or addings points to get it
