try one of the promo trainers at CheatScapes, see if those works for you.

Else Disable/Uninstall your virusscanner.

CJB, tried your suggestions and they didn't work either. Are we supposed to be running without a CD? Just can't understand what we're doing wrong. Any more ideas anyone?

Hmm well I created the trainer for the steam version of the game.

Try some of the trainers at GCW. There should be at least one of them which works. Else I am out of options.

Thanks CJB for your attempts to help us, but I wouldn't use GCW site if you paid me. No offense intended. I guess we'll just have to wait for a new trainer. I think I've checked every board and site possible for a fix for this kid, and with the autism, even at 24 years old, he's beyond frustrated. I have to say though, that you guys are great to deal with. There always seems to be someone who at least tries to help out. Thanks so much! Mama Jen

There is a trainer at Mafia Scene called the VITO Patch but I couldn't get it to work with version 1.0.0.1, it's supposed to give you infinite time, God mode and infinite ammo.

I think the Mafia II Freeride Mod interfered with it or maybe the Mafia II "Jimmy's Vendetta" DLC doesn't work with it!..

Got it to work! Download the m2dev.zip file extract it and copy the contents of that file to the same folder as mafia2.exe, it should be something like C:\Program Files (x86)\2K Games\Mafia II\pc, then use the file m2dev.exe to start the game. Press F12 in the game to bring up the console. There ya go have fun and happy tweaking!
