I would like to add to what I originally said. I feel the games story line would have benefited from more chapters and I thought you would be doing more with your best friend Joe.

do you get any of that in jimmy's vendetta? i haven't played it, so i'm asking.

First I don't know what you're asking about and second I have not played Jimmy's Vendetta. I'm still not finished playing Mafia 2 as Vito.

Actually I finished Mafia 2 and I'm playing it over from the beginning just for the fun of it and also to get all the artwork and playmates.

Besides what annoys me is and I can't find it again but I remeber seeing a video where you go on a job for Derek and you destroy someelses cars for him, but of course this never made it into the completed game for some reason.

I get the feeling they had more content for the main game in development but dropped it because of time constraints. The way I see it there is no point in rushing what might be considered an incomoplete product to market.

Hold on I think I did something like that for Derek I think dang that's bugging me now.

I know I keep adding on th what I originally said but well I just keep on thinking of things that are missing from wonderful and yet incomplete game.

What I also feel is missing is more interaction with both your mother and sister. I mean I saw a review where they mention you being torn between your criminal life and your family but I didn't get that feeling playing the game.

I read the Gamespot review and they said that the game felt as if when they made it that they developers put in the least amount of effort possible making the game and after playing through the game a few times I agree.

The thing is that 2K could have put more effort and time in to making this game and we would have benefited from a better end product. This is why I don't think things should be rushed to market.

One good example of something that was not rushed to market and is a very good game is Starcraft Two. 2K should take a lesson from Blizzard and foloow their lead in the future.

this game has certainly been underrated, most of the reviews i read only gave it a 7, only few gave it an 8 or higher, i just saw the reveiw for jimmy's vendetta on ign and they only gave it a 7, i think maybe for this reason and as you mentioned the problems with 2k games have certainly ensured that this game isn't going to be releasing a game of the year version.
