Amnesia: The Dark Descent Message Board  

I redownloaded it and activated it in game as usual....lantern/arm glitching still there for some reason, but thanks so much for trying and actually taking the time to look through my save game to try and help.

I have the same problem with the lantern as other people. I really appreciate it that the CH team tried to fix it/is trying to fix it, I really hope you guys can get it to work.
Seeing as this doesn't happen to everyone my guess is that it only happens on certain systems with certain setups. Same as Metalhead I run Win7 64bit.
That kinda dampens my hope that this will ever be fixed because the problem can't be easily replicated.

So from what I understand is that this problem didn't occur before the latest patch? I got the game yesterday so I'm not up to date with things concerning Amnesia from before that.

Yes, before the latest patch, all trainers worked flawlessly. It must be certain setups and stuff on peoples computer that does that, i.e. windows 7 64bit. Oh well lol, im not gonna bug them anymore and wait for frictional games to patch it again, if ever...and wait for another trainer

I get this message when trying to download the trainer zip file "...could not be saved, because the source file could not be read." I tried to clear the cookies and cache and everything but still aint being able to go through with downloading file. Help?

Please Help!, i used the trainer a little and now, even without the trainer, i dont ever die, monsters hit me and my health its still full, and im in a level where i am supposed to die so i cant go any further in the storyline, i dont know what to do, help!

yes, as soon as I activate the trainer it starts flickering with the arm and lantern thingie

i have tested this over and over... is there a certain level this is occurring on? because i cannot replicate this problem with any saves or any part of the game here.

I haven't played much further but pretty much from the time I pick up the lantern it starts and hasn't stopped yet. I am all so on win 7 64bit sp1
