Just tried playing the game with super oil and it makes the lantern go off and on repeatedly. (Steam version)

You lot with the lantern problem, what operation system are you at?

Anyways to avoid the lantern issue, start the game and the trainer, activate the options that you want, save the game and exit. Close the trainer.

Start up the game without the trainer-

Enjoy the game. Whatever options you enabled before restarting game and closing out the trainers seems to be retained(if you can confirm this then please do, atleast that is what is happening here). Only way you are gonna be able to turn them off is by editing the save file by the look of it.

Im having the same issue with the lantern as well. Ive activated the trainer (latest version) and the game is extremely choppy, arm with lantern glitches on and off so bad but when i turn off the lantern it goes away. I dont have anything running in the background as far as antivirus and stuff like that, or firewalls, so ive ruled that out as the problem. Ive tried what the last poster said to do, activate the trainer, then options, save exit, restart game. It saves the lantern oil setting to unlimited but the health is back to normal/dead in a few hits, ive tested that out with the invisible water creature. It killed me within a few hits :-(. Im not sure what else I can do. Ive ran it under admin and all that jazz. Im running windows 7 64bit. Ive never had this problem before the 1.2 patch. Im in no way blaming anyone, maybe the developers tweaked it so we cant use trainers :-(. Anyways if anyone has any more suggestions as to how I can get this to work again they are welcomed. I mean if i have to ill play without the trainer but....dont want to because of the awesome work that the CH crew put into their quality trainers. Ive been a member for 4-5 years now and will always keep coming back to them.

The lantern oil seemed to stay at infinite/unlimited, but the health and sanity for some reason never stayed infinite/unlimited as well. Kinda sucks because all these trainers worked up until 1.2 patch. I dunno, maybe they found a way to block most of the trainers options or something now

Well after I had to reformat my computer last night because of a cruddy Windows 7 64bit error, I decided to try the Amnesia trainer once again to see if the problem with the arm and lantern video problems were gone but there not. Every time I use the lantern the game flickers incessantly and slows down to a crawl instead of being a constant 60fps like it should be. Ive talked with the developers of the game and they haven't come across this at all in their extensive testing that they are still doing even after release. I just don't get it, after the 1.2 patch or whatever version the game is currently as of the time of writing this, the trainer just doesn't want to work. All of my other trainers I get from here work flawlessly and thank you CH crew for that, but this one is just a thorn in my side because I really want to play this game through with the trainer but just can't. I know a few members like myself are having this issue and the crew can't replicate it....would it help if I linked the fraps videos I have taken to show you guys whats happening and see if something can be done about it? I really, really, really, wanna play this game and just run around like a mad man and not die but I can't. In short, I am this ---> :-( that I can't use it haha. Well keep up the good work CH Crew and hopefully someone can find a solution to this somehow.

I dont know what to do, Ive turned off everything in the background before running the game and its still doing this.
