I can hear game sounds but I can't see anything but the said error thingy...
Sounds like the refresh rate being used is wrong or the resolution you are trying to use is not available with your monitor, Video card combination as that is the error you get when your monitor cannot handle the set refresh rate or monitor resolution. Lower your refresh rate
