I am an old gamer and have just about seen it all with PC gaming. I absolutely love Dead Island because it is so danged entertaining, I can't put it away without playing for a few hours (LOL).

I would give the game an 8 since it still has problems and cannot perform easy tasks on the PC version. It is very very addicting and played it for hours so far. I would recommend it but I would also wait for a couple more patches until you buy it.

Strange, i rated this game 9 last night and this morning it says i rated it 8. maybe my mistake and i fat fingered it. anyway, i'd rate this game up there with borderlands and diablo 2. I've logged 110 hrs in DI so far and i'm probably going to log at least 100 more. I'm biased towards these type games, i guess. It doesn't "feel" linear, it has that random chance to collect awesome weapons and it has a certain amount of adrenaline inducing fright when you are facing multiple enemies. Add the fact that it has many RPG elements, which i love and you'll find that this is almost the complete package for me. The dev and publisher have my money and they'll get alot more of it if they keep making more content like DI.

Like the three other I simply can't put this game down. Absolutly love it, a few bugs but not something that keeps me from playing it again and again and again.[Edited by MightyMike_DK, 9/18/2011 11:59:18 AM]

I really love the game but a few visuals are looks really bad, like the main menu it could be more satisfying at animation and graphics, and i agree the second comment wait for a couple more patches until you buy it, cause i lost my save with a patch.
