On disc one of the set, go to the [Special Features] menu. There, highlight the [Love Comes And Goes] menu entry. Now press the [Up] arrow key on your remote and a picture will appear highlighted. Press [Enter] now and you will be treated to a 5-minute outtake of Kate Hudson trying to get a name right.
On the same disc, go to the [Audio] menu and there highlight the [Commentary by director Cameron Crowe] menu entry. Then press the [Right] arrow key on your remote to highlight the spindle hole on the record label. Now press [Enter] and you will see an outtake with Philip Seymour Hoffman and Patrick Fugit.
Perfectionist During Filming
On disc two, in the [Cast] section, from the first page of Fairuza Balk’s biography, press [Up] to highlight the Polaroid photograph. Press [Enter] for 9 minutes of multiple takes of a scene between Penny Lane and William on the tour bus, with a 1-minute intro in which Crowe explains how much of a perfectionist he is during filming.
