You will face a lot of creatures so it would be useful if you knew their resistances and weakness to defeat them easily and painless. First we are going to see the creatures of Diablo2 world and then the Diablo2 LoD. The list includes the name of the creatures, their resistances and the difficulty scale to kill them (0 for easy.....5 for hard. Poison 3 c) Balrog Fire 3 --------------------------------------------------------BOSSES-------------------------------------------------------- ACT I: ANDARIEL. This monster has poison skills, so make sure that you have any items that boost your poison resistance. It isn't so tough, so you won't have any trouble to beat it. ACT II: DURIEL. Duriel has cold and melee skills. Unfortunately, you will fight him in his lair and that means it won't be easy to escape once the battle starts, so make sure that you have opened a town portal before you challenge him. Furthermore, if you have a mage or archer it won't be easy at all to beat him because his lair is too small and you won't be able to run away or manouevre your hero if things start going wrong. In that case you should use your mind to beat him. Use anything that may keep Duriel away from you. Weapons that can stun him, spells that can trap him or summon minions to distract him. All these things would be very useful for this fight. ACT III: MEPHISTO. The little brother of Diablo. He has lighting skills so make sure that you have high lighting resistances otherwise you will be dead in a few moments. Mephisto has a lot of minions defending him, so it would be good if you kill those minions before you start fighting him. Once you clear the area from these creatures, go for him. Grab a heavy weapon such as long swords/ hammers/ crossbows etc or cast high level spells to inflict massive damage to him, summon any creature to distract him , take a lot of health/ mana potions and prepare for the battle. You might need a lot of time to beat him so be patient. ACT IV: DIABLO. He is the final boss of Diablo2 world. He is really strong and bad. If you want to survive you should do some simple things. Make sure that you have max resistances, especially your fire resistance. Equip with a good armor or anything that increase your defense. Buy weapons that do a lot of damage, cast final level spells that can hurt him a lot (note: fire spells are not very effective against Diablo. Use lighting, cold, poison,bone spells etc to attack him) and spells that may improve your skills or worsen his skills. Also summon any creature that can distract him. Last but not least take many health and mana potions. You also have a great advantage. Prepare to fight them 1) WARPED SHAMANS. Leader: Colenzo the Annihilator. These creatures have fire skills, so you will need fire resistance. The good thing is that they are not very tough. You won't have any problem to defeat them. Also if you have the ability to cast cold spell, do it. Cold spells are really effective against them. 2) UNRAVELERS. Leader: Achmel the Cursed. These minions have poison skills and resistances to poison attacks, so don't cast poison spells, it is waste of time. Fortunately, they are pretty weak therefore you can beat them quickly. Cast spells that may curse them or worsen their skills, equip with a good weapon or use fire/lighting/cold/bone spells and go for them. 3) COUNCIL MEMBERS. Leader: Bartuc the Bloody. These minions is a big trouble because their lighting skills are deadly. Make sure that you have a good armor and your lighting resistance is maximum. It is not easy at all to defeat them so if you can split and fight them one by one it would be good. Summon any creatures to distact them, cast spells that may lower their resistances/ defense, take a lot of heath/ mana potions and prepare for the fight. 4) VENOM LORDS. Leader: Ventar the Unholy. These creatures use melee and fire attacks, so you should increase your defense and your fire resistance. They have a lot of health points but it isn't too difficult to win this battle. Equip with a good weapon, cast some cold/poison/ lighting spells and spells that may lower their resistances, summon any creature to attack them and go for it. 5) MINIONS OF DESTRUCTION. Leader: Lister the Tormentor. The last and most powerfull creatures before challenging Baal. These minions are really tough. They use melee attacks that can stun and decrease you health points in a few seconds. You can't defeat all of them at once. Try to split and kill them one by one. This is difficult too, but you have to do it otherwise you will be dead very soon. First of all you need a very good armor and any item that may increase your health and your attack rating. Grab a heavy weapon like hammer/ long sword, cast spells that inflict massive damage and buy a lot of health/ mana potions.Cold spells also are useful because they slow them down. Summon creatures to protect your character and distract them. You may need a lot of time to defeat them all but you must not quit. Last but not least, their leader, Lister the Tormentor, has the ability to regenerate his health points. That's too bad for you, but you can defeat him even though it is difficult. You can kill him at the end after you have defeated all the other minions of this group. If he is alone it is a little bit easier to kill him. ACT V: BAAL. This is the last boss you should defeat and complete the game and as you have already twigged it, he is the toughest. Baal is really bad. He can kill you with just one hit so be prepared to battle against him. Before you face him, make sure that you have opened a town portal. Buy a very good armor, items that increase your health points and your attack rating, maximize your resistances and buy a lot of health/ mana potions. Also summon creatures to attack and distract him and cast spells to improve your skills. Try to apply the great strategy , if it is possible, othewise you may be dead in a few minutes. Cast final level spells if you have a mage or take heavy weapons such as long swords/ hammers/ crossbows if you have a warrior/ archer. Another bad thing is that Baal creates a clone. Both of them are named "Baal" but for the fake one, the word "Baal" is lined up perfectly. The real Baal's name doesn't line up perfectly. If you can't see the difference during the fight kill both of them, don't waste time to find this little difference, it might be fatal for you hero.
