What’s New? [003] ============================================================================== There are a few new things in the multiplayer mode; - There are now 3 kinds of killstreaks; Assault, Support, Specialist, this will be explained in the killstreak section of the guide. - There are new attachments for the guns - The proficiency of the weapons are a cool thing to due as well of levelling up your gun. - Quickscoping is back people, HELL YA!!! For people who were disappointed with Black Ops this will make up for it. - NOOB TUBERS are really weak now as it will take a direct hit or a pelt to kill someone now. - Some new Lethal and Tactical grenades - New types of game modes, Kill Confirmed and Team Defender. ============================================================================== Weapons [WPN] ============================================================================== Hi there, here are the weapons of Call of Duty; Modern Warfare 3, there are some guns from the series that have returned as well as some new ones. I’ve broken down the stats of each weapon into 8 categories; I also put the Proficiency of each weapon class there. 1. Accuracy: How accurate is the weapon aiming down the sight 2. Damage: How many bullets before someone dies 3. Range: How far the gun can go while doing maximum damage 4. Fire Rate: How fast the weapon shoots 5. Mobility: How fast/slow you are while walking/sprinting 6. Hip Firing: How good it is without aiming down the sight 7. Reloading with Ammo: How fast it reloads with ammo still in the gun 8. Reloading with no Ammo: How fast it reloads with no ammo left in the gun I’ve also put what level your weapon has to be to unlock each proficiency and attachment at the end of each section. NOTE: THESE ARE BASED ON MY OPINION AND IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT PLEASE LET ME KNOW CUZ I WANT GOOD FEEDBACK. ============================================================================== Proficiency Types [PROT] ============================================================================== So this is brand new concept for Call of Duty, these are like attachments for your weapon but give them a type of upgrade only when using the weapon you have customized for. ATTACHMENTS: If you played MW2 you know that this is the BLING perk, if you haven’t played MW2 then this means you can equip 2 attachments. You can only equip 1 scope attachment and 1 more attachment but if you are not using a scope then you can pick 2 attachments. People in MW3 use this a lot in the game because it helps them out a lot since they can have the thing they want plus 1 more thing. BREATH: This is pretty much for sniping, you get some extra time while holding your breath to make a more precise shot. DAMAGE: This is only for the SHOTGUN, this increases the shell damage but I don’t by how much since I don’t use them FOCUS: If you played Black Ops this pretty much like Hardened Pro, for people who haven’t played it this reduces flinching [getting shot] when firing your weapon. KICK: This helps out the kickback [recoil] of your gun, this is the first one you get and a useful one for guns with extremely bad recoiling. IMPACT: This is helpful for snipers the most and for other guns, it helps out since people hide a lot in buildings or in behind stuff, IMPACT helps you do more damage since its like FMJ in MW2, MELEE: This helps you speed up your knifing attack [not sure] SPEED: This is useful for people you like to move a lot aiming down the sight, this helps because it makes you harder to hit when aiming. STABILITY: This is also helps with guns with recoiling but only when aiming down the sight of your gun, use this for weapons with bad recoiling. RANGE: This increases the range of your weapon [dont know by how much] making weapons with little range a little better. ============================================================================== Attachments [ATT] ============================================================================== These are the attachments, for the weapons in the game, forgive me for any wrong characteristics on the attachments, ACOG Scope: This adds an scope to your weapon that gives you a 4x zoom, this helps out for people you couldn't really see with a iron sight. [NOTE: I RECOMMEND ACOG FOR ASSAULT RIFLES AND MACHINE GUNS BUT NOT FOR SMG'S BECAUSE THE RECOIL IS TOO HARD TO LOOK DOWN THE SCOPE] Akimbo: These are only used for pistols and machine pistols, this gives your other hand another weapon which gives you more firepower but restricts you from looking down the sight making CQC the best time to use it. Extended Mags: This usually gives you 1.5x of the total clip to your gun, giving you more ammo in the clip. [NOTE: SOME WEAPONS CAN'T HAVE EXTENDED MAGS BECAUSE THEY HAVE TOO MUCH AMMO IN THE CLIP ALREADY] Grenade Launcher: Only for Assault Rifles, this is M320 grenade which propells a grenade to your destination. [NOTE: NOOB TUBES ARE REALLY WEAK AS ONLY PELTS OR DIRECT HITS WILL KILL SOMEONE NOW] Grip: Only for Machine Guns, this helps reduce the recoil for weapons which big weapon sway, helpful to make better accuracy with your gun. HAMAR Scope: This only for the SMG's, has an HAMAR Scope which acts like an ACOG Scope and red dot sight. The first sight is the HAMAR Scope which gives you a little zoom and hit left on the d-pad to use the red dor sight. Heartbeat Sensor: This helps detects where enemies are nearby, if they are they'll show up a red dot and if there are friendly they'll show as green. [NOTE: CANNOT SEE PEOPLE WITH ASSASSIN ON] Holographic Sight: Like a red dot sight except this gives you a square box to look though but doesn't give you any range zoom. Hybrid Sight: This is the reflex sight and holographic sight combined, the first scope is the reflex sight which acts as an ACOG Scope while if you hit left on the d-pad will switch to the holographic sight. Rapid Fire: This increases the weapons rate of fire but can make the gun less accurate, useful for guns with slow rate of fire but bad for guns with high rate fire unless you can use them properly. Red Dot Sight: Adds a little laser sight to your weapon making it easier to see people. Shotgun: Only for Assault Rifles, you can add an underbarrel shotgun to your weapon making it easier to kill people in close range. [NOTE: DO NOT KNOW IF THEY MADE IT ONE SHOT CUZ IN MW2 YOU NEED STOPPING POWER TO KILL SOMEONE WITH IT.] Silencer: This makes your weapon silent and cannot be detected on the map while firing, this is perfect for sneaking up on the other team. Tactical Knife: This can only be equipped on pistols, this speeds up your melee attack by about 75%. Thermal Vision: You can see people's body heat making them easier to hit. [NOTE: CANNOT SEE PEOPLE WITH ASSASSIN ON AND CAN SEE SMOKE GRENADES] Variable Zoom: This is only on Sniper Rifles, you get like 3 different zooms, like 4x, 7x and 10x making close, mid and far range. ============================================================================== IV. Assault Rifles [004] ============================================================================== Proficiency Types: These are a type of perk meant for the gun you have equipped and only that gun. [THESE ARE FOR ASSAULT RIFLES ONLY] Kick: Helps reduce the recoil from your weapon Impact: Helps penetrates objects easier Attachments: Have 2 attachments on instead of 1 Focus: Stops you from flinching when getting shot Breath: Longer Breath when aiming down the sight Stability: Reduced weapon sway while aiming down the sight ==== M4A1 ==== Unlocked: Default Assault Rifle Clip Size: 30/60 Accuracy: 7.5/10 Damage: 6/10 Range: 7.5/10 Fire Rate: 6.5/10 Mobility: 7.5/10 Hip Firing: 6.5/10 Reloading with Ammo: 1.5 Seconds Reloading with No Ammo: 2.7 Seconds Attachments: Red Dot Sight, Silencer, Grenade Launcher, ACOG Scope, Heartbeat Sensor, Holographic Sight, Shotgun, Hybrid Sight, Extended Mags, Thermal Vision My Opinion: I really don’t like the M4 that much since it’s a weapon that I find to weak and inaccurate to finish off my target, but if your those people who really like the M4 please don’t hate me for hating this weapon. Overall I think it’s a decent weapon but I would use the M16 instead. ===== M16A4 ===== Unlocked: Default Assault Rifle Clip Size: 30/60 Accuracy: 9/10 Damage: 8.5/10 Range: 8.5/10 Fire Rate: 6.5/10 Mobility: 7.5/10 Hip Firing: 5/10 Reloading with Ammo: 1.4 Seconds Reloading with No Ammo: 2.4 Seconds Attachments: Red Dot Sight, Silencer, Grenade Launcher, ACOG Scope, Rapid Fire, Heartbeat Sensor, Holographic Sight, Shotgun, Hybrid Sight, Extended Mags, Thermal Vision My Opinion: I really like burst weapons and are meant for people you can take the time to aim and hit their target, this is usually a 1 burst kill but sometimes require a second burst to end their life. Overall if you like a burst weapon use this but if you can’t burst then use the M4. Master 3203:I find that ADS is rather slow, compared to other AR's. I also find the burst fire quite lame, requiring a minimum of 2 bursts every time unless you’re on the head. Sometimes it can get to 3 bursts before they die. ====== SCAR-L ====== Unlocked: 6 Clip Size: 30/60 Accuracy: 9/10 Damage: 8/10 Range: 7.5/10 Fire Rate: 7/10 Mobility: 7.5/10 Hip Firing: 6/10 Reloading with Ammo: 2.3 Seconds Reloading with No Ammo: 2.6 Seconds Attachments: Red Dot Sight, Silencer, Grenade Launcher, ACOG Scope, Heartbeat Sensor, Holographic Sight, Shotgun, Hybrid Sight, Extended Mags, Thermal Vision My Opinion: I switch to this after getting it, the Scar it better than the M4 and will get the job done, its more accurate and less recoil and has more ammo than it did in MW2. ===== CM901 ===== Unlocked: 19 Clip Size: 30/60 Accuracy: 7.5/10 Damage: 7.5/10 Range: 7/10 Fire Rate: 6.0/10 Mobility: 7.5/10 Hip Firing: 6.5/10 Reloading with Ammo: 2.1 Seconds Reloading with No Ammo: 2.8 Seconds Attachments: Red Dot Sight, Silencer, Grenade Launcher, ACOG Scope, Heartbeat Sensor, Holographic Sight, Shotgun, Hybrid Sight, Extended Mags, Thermal Vision My Opinion: The gun I see most people using in MW3, its probably the best all around assault rifle, decent in every category except for the recoil which can be adjusted to easily but if you want to use another weapon go ahead. Master3203: I find the weapon damage to be about 8.5 actually with the accuracy at 8. The recoil really isn’t bad. It’s actually about the same as the ACR. Proficiency should be Focus and the attachment should be Silencer, or Hybrid sight with this. Gold Camo (unlocked at Lv31) looks rather good on this. ======= TYPE-95 ======= Unlocked: 32 Clip Size: 30/60 Accuracy: 9/10 Damage: 8.5/10 Range: 8.5/10 Fire Rate: 7/10 Mobility: 7.5/10 Hip Firing: 5/10 Reloading with Ammo: 2.6 Seconds Reloading with No Ammo: 3.0 Seconds Attachments: Red Dot Sight, Silencer, Grenade Launcher, ACOG Scope, Rapid Fire, Heartbeat Sensor, Holographic Sight, Shotgun, Hybrid Sight, Extended Mags, Thermal Vision My Opinion: Probably the most annoying gun to go against but using it is probably better than receiving. The Type-95 is pretty much the same thing as the M16 but is faster and usually requires 1 burst, not only is gun fast but will usually beat all weapons on a 1v1 because it’s too fast. My suggestion is to use this weapon to level up faster. ==== G36C ==== Unlocked: 42 Clip Size: 30/60 Accuracy: 8/10 Damage: 8.5/10 Range: 7.0/10 Fire Rate: 7/10 Mobility: 7.5/10 Hip Firing: 5/10 Reloading with Ammo: 1.9 Seconds Reloading with No Ammo: 3.5 Seconds Attachments: Red Dot Sight, Silencer, Grenade Launcher, ACOG Scope, Heartbeat Sensor, Holographic Sight, Shotgun, Hybrid Sight, Extended Mags, Thermal Vision My Opinion: Don’t let the damage and accuracy fool you, this weapon is as strong as the M4 but has a recoil of a CM901, I didn’t really like it since its not the weapon I like to use. Master3203: I find the recoil rather bad with this gun. Not at all like the CM901. In CoD4, it was awesome. On here, it's just an all round good weapon. Good in everything, master in none. Best use Kick proficiency and Silencer to reduce the recoil as much as possible. ======= ACR 6.8 ======= Unlocked: 50 Clip Size: 30/60 Accuracy: 8.5/10 Damage: 7/10 Range: 7.5/10 Fire Rate: 6/10 Mobility: 7.5/10 Hip Firing: 6/10 Reloading with Ammo: 1.5 Seconds Reloading with No Ammo: 2.5 Seconds Attachments: Red Dot Sight, Silencer, Grenade Launcher, ACOG Scope, Heartbeat Sensor, Holographic Sight, Shotgun, Hybrid Sight, Extended Mags, Thermal Vision My Opinion: This weapon is probably the most accurate of them since the recoil is fairly small but that makes the damage low, this a good gun to use when you get it. ==== MK14 ==== Unlocked: 60 Clip Size: 20/40 Accuracy: 9/10 Damage: 9/10 Range: 8/10 Fire Rate: 5.5/10 Mobility: 7.5/10 Hip Firing: 3/10 Reloading with Ammo: 2.6 Seconds Reloading with No Ammo: 3.4 Seconds Attachments: Red Dot Sight, Silencer, Grenade Launcher, ACOG Scope, Rapid Fire, Heartbeat Sensor, Holographic Sight, Shotgun, Hybrid Sight, Extended Mags, Thermal Vision My Opinion: This is the FAL of the game its nice weapon to have for mid-long range fights, put on a sight and you have a sniper rifle, this usually takes 2 shots but sometimes require another 1 or 2 shots but if come into close quarters better knife than shoot as its terrible at hip firing. ==== AK47 ==== Unlocked: 69 Clip Size: 30/60 Accuracy: 8/10 Damage: 7/10 Range: 7.5/10 Fire Rate: 6.5/10 Mobility: 7.5/10 Hip Firing: 4.5/10 Reloading with Ammo: 2.5 Seconds Reloading with No Ammo: 3.1 Seconds Attachments: Red Dot Sight, Silencer, Grenade Launcher, ACOG Scope, Heartbeat Sensor, Holographic Sight, Shotgun, Hybrid Sight, Extended Mags, Thermal Vision My Opinion: This weapon is good but you have to be able to cope with the amazing recoil for both ADS and hip firing, if you can do that this weapon is deadly. The AK’s damage is pretty low thus equalling an machine pistol, I’ve tried it and could barely kill anyone. Master3203: It’s quite easy to use without sight attachments as they almost double the recoil on it. Best used again with Silencer and the Kick Proficiency, but will then easily get about 3 kills a clip. [THESE ARE FOR SUBMACHINE GUNS ONLY] Kick: Helps reduce the recoil from your weapon Range: Increases your range Attachments: Have 2 attachments on instead of 1 Focus: Stops you from flinching when getting shot Melee: Faster melee Stability: Reduced weapon sway while aiming down the sight === MP5 === Unlocked: Default SMG Clip Size: 30/60 Accuracy: 7/10 Damage: 6.5/10 Range: 5/10 Fire Rate: 6.5/10 Mobility: 8.5/10 Hip Firing: 5/10 Reloading with Ammo: 2.4 Seconds Reloading with No Ammo: 2.9 Seconds Attachments: Red Dot Sight, Silencer, Rapid Fire, ACOG Scope, Holographic Sight, HAMAR Scope, Extended Mags, Thermal Vision My Opinion: This is a decent SMG to use but I recommend using the UMP45 if your using a starting SMG, it’s an ok gun. ===== UMP45 ===== Unlocked: Default SMG Clip Size: 32/64 Accuracy: 7/10 Damage: 6.5/10 Range: 5.5/10 Fire Rate: 7/10 Mobility: 8.5/10 Hip Firing: 5/10 Reloading with Ammo: 2.6 Seconds Reloading with No Ammo: 3.2 Seconds Attachments: Red Dot Sight, Silencer, Rapid Fire, ACOG Scope, Holographic Sight, HAMAR Scope, Extended Mags, Thermal Vision My Opinion: This is probably the best all around SMG in the game, it has good accuracy, enough damage to kill someone in like 5-6 shots, the firing rate is good but they added more recoil too it to make it different from MW2. ===== PP90M ===== Unlocked: 28 Clip Size: 36/72 Accuracy: 7.5/10 Damage: 6.5/10 Range: 5/10 Fire Rate: 8.5/10 Mobility: 8.5/10 Hip Firing: 5/10 Reloading with Ammo: 2.4 Seconds Reloading with No Ammo: 3.3 Seconds Attachments: Red Dot Sight, Silencer, Rapid Fire, ACOG Scope, Holographic Sight, HAMAR Scope, Extended Mags, Thermal Vision My Opinion: This is best SMG I have used so far, it doesn’t have the damage capacity but the firing rate makes up for that for it big time, the recoil is pretty high but manageable, this is awesome for taking out multiple enemies because of its large ammo size. === P90 === Unlocked: 38 Clip Size: 50/100 Accuracy: 7.5/10 Damage: 6.5/10 Range: 5.5/10 Fire Rate: 7.5/10 Mobility: 8.5/10 Hip Firing: 4.5/10 Reloading with Ammo: 2.7 Seconds Reloading with No Ammo: 3.2 Seconds Attachments: Red Dot Sight, Silencer, Rapid Fire, ACOG Scope, Holographic Sight, HAMAR Scope, Extended Mags, Thermal Vision My Opinion: This has the largest ammo clip for SMG’s making it ideal for taking out enemies without having to reload, its fast but low damage making taking out enemies a hassle. === PM9 === Unlocked: 56 Clip Size: 32/64 Accuracy: 5.5/10 Damage: 6.5/10 Range: 5.5/10 Fire Rate: 9/10 Mobility: 8.5/10 Hip Firing: 4.5/10 Reloading with Ammo: 2.6 Seconds Reloading with No Ammo: 3.6 Seconds Attachments: Red Dot Sight, Silencer, Rapid Fire, ACOG Scope, Holographic Sight, HAMAR Scope, Extended Mags, Thermal Vision My Opinion: I will recommend that you not use this weapon unless you want the title and emblems for it. I will recommend Sleight of Hand for this. Master3203:I find it a lot better than the PKP for damage as well as fire rate. The iron sights are quite lame on the gun though with just 2 circles (one bigger than the other). Recommend using Attachments proficiency and having the ACOG sight and the Grip on this and then just mows enemies down like they were butter. Master3203: Best use overkill with this and scavenger so u have a lot of ammo in your gun. Bets Pick an Assault rifle for this. Best one would be the Scar-L as the iron sights are mint and you can have the focus proficiency on it because the recoil isn't too high. Also, the shield max proficiency level is 10. ============================================================================== X. The stinger is more of the supporter role of the team, this also good for the Blind Eye perk. ==== XM25 ==== Unlocked: 52 Clip Size: 4/12 Accuracy: 8/10 Damage: 8/10 Range: 10/10 Fire Rate: 8/10 Mobility: 7.5/10 Hip Firing: N/A Reloading with Ammo: 4.2 seconds Reloading with No Ammo: 4.7 seconds Attachments: None My Opinion: This is actually a fun launcher to use, you can control how far each grenade goes, all you have to do is aim then look wherever you want then lock in the distance, the grenade will now explode at the designated distance. ======== M320 GLM ======== Unlocked: 64 Clip Size: 1/1 Accuracy: 7.5/10 Damage: 7.5/10 Range: 7.5/10 Fire Rate: 4/10 Mobility: 7.5/10 Hip Firing: 3/10 Reloading with Ammo: 3.6 seconds Reloading with No Ammo: N/A Attachments: None My Opinion: Pretty much like the Thumper in MW2, this weapon is a 50/50 chance of killing someone and has a tendency to not blow up, my advice don’t use it. ===== RPG-7 ===== Unlocked: 80 Clip Size: 1/1 Accuracy: 5.0/10 Damage: 9/10 Range: 5/10 Fire Rate: 5/10 Mobility: 5/10 Hip Firing: 5/10 Reloading with Ammo: 3.7 Seconds Reloading with No Ammo: N/A Attachments: None My Opinion: The RPG-7 is probably the strongest launcher in the game but is also the most unreliable launcher in the game. You pretty much have a 50/50 chance when aiming at the target as the rocket may go in any direction and go off course making it annoying when you get killed. Overall this weapon is fun to run around with. The maximum proficiency for the Launchers are Level 10. ============================================================================== XIII. Lethal Grenades [013] ============================================================================== Frag Grenade: A simple grenade that can roll down slopes but has a 5 second delay on it. Unlocked: Default Semtex Grenade: A grenade that will stick to any surface or person then blow up after 5 seconds Unlocked: Default Throwing Knife: A standard issue knife, 1 hit kill but hard to use. Unlocked: 5 Bouncing Betty: Like a claymore except this one jumps off the ground killing the enemy. Unlocked: 37 Claymore: A explosive that stays stationary untilled tripped then KA-BOOM. Unlocked: 57 C4: Strong explosives which needs to be detonated remotely to blow up. Unlocked: 69 ============================================================================== XIV. Tactical Grenades [014] ============================================================================== Flash Grenade: A grenade that blinds the enemy making there screen white for a certain amount time depending where the flash hit them. Unlocked: Default Concussion Grenade: Like the flash except this blows up faster and disorients the enemy making them slow. Unlocked: Default Scrambler: A device which if the enemy comes into range disables there mini-map within the radius it has. Unlocked: 13 EMP Grenade: This grenade takes out any electronic device which means all killstreaks and equipment, this also knocks out your mini-map and makes your screen fuzzy if hit. Unlocked: 21 Smoke Grenade: A grenade that pops our smoke which the enemy cannot see you, good for moving point A to point B. [NOTE: USE THERMAL VISION TO SEE THROUGH THE SMOKE AND HIT TARGETS]. Unlocked: 29 Trophy: A defense turret that destroys 2 enemy projectiles. Unlocked: 45 Tactical Insertion: A flare which when placed makes you respawn where you want anywhere on the map. Unlocked: 61 Portable Radar: Like in Black Ops, this emits a small sonar within its radius, any enemies within its radius is shown on the mini-map. Unlocked: 77 ============================================================================== XV. Perks [015] ============================================================================== There are a total of 15 perks in the game with 6 deathstreaks, the perks are broken into 3 groups Blue, Red, and Yellow. ========== BLUE PERKS ========== RECON: Explosive damage paints the enemy on the mini-map Pro: Bullets now paint the enemy on the mini-map Unlocked: Default Perk My Opinion: This is pretty useful when taking out campers since you don’t know which way their facing, the perk shows you which way they are facing for a few seconds just to plan out your attack. SLIEGHT OF HAND: Reloads your weapon faster Pro: Weapon switching is faster Unlocked: Default Perk My Opinion: Useful for any type of weapon when using this and even better when it is PRO, even though reloading is fast, switching weapons is just as fast you have a choice between what weapons you want to use. BLIND EYE: Air support and sentry guns can’t see you Pro: Launcher Lock=on and extra bullet damage vs air support and sentry guns Unlocked: 11 My Opinion: Useful when the air killstreaks start coming in your team can’t destroy them and for sentry guns [Not Remote Sentry] can’t see you. [NOTE: THAT PREDATORS, UAVS/ADVANCED UAVS CAN SEE YOU] EXTREME CONDITIONING: Sprint longer Pro: Climb obstacles faster Unlocked: 22 My Opinion: This is useful for people when the map is big can a lot of running is required, this is not as good as Marathon since is was too cheap making the Extreme Conditioning the next option. SCAVENGER: Resupply from dead enemies Pro: Start with full ammo with both Primary and Secondary weapons Unlocked: 39 My Opinion: Pretty useful if your aiming is really bad since you waste a lot of ammo, don’t worry since you can pick ammo. ========= RED PERKS ========= QUICKDRAW: Faster aiming down the sight Pro: Recover faster from equipment ad grenade use faster Unlocked: Default Perk My Opinion: The most used perk used for snipers [Quickscoping] also for aiming down the sight faster which gives you an edge for people who are slow at aiming. BLAST SHIELD: Explosive damage is reduced Pro: Flash and Stun damage is reduced Unlocked: Default Perk My Opinion: An, ok perk useful when people throw a lot of grenades and explosives. HARDLINE: Requires 1 less kill for killstreak Pro: Every 2 assists counts as 1 kill and deathstreaks need 1 less death Unlocked: 15 My Opinion: ASSASSIN: Invisible to UAV, Portable Radar, Thermal Vision, Heartbeat Sensors. Pro: Immune to EMP and CUAV, no red crosshair and name when targeted. Unlocked: 27 My Opinion: Probably the most used perk in the game, its like Cold Blooded from MW2 but a lot better when it is a pro version, I use this when I get it. OVERKILL: 2 Primary Weapons Pro: Attachment on second primary weapon Unlocked: 47 My Opinion: Its good for people you like having 2 primaries, useful for people using Snipers, Shotguns or Riot Shields. ============ YELLOW PERKS ============ MARKSMAN: ID enemies at a longer range Pro: Longer breath when scoping Unlocked: Default Perk My Opinion: This is pretty much used for sniping otherwise you need a Thermal scope for this to really work. STALKER: Move faster while aiming down the sight Pro: Delay explosives like claymores, bouncing betty’s and I.M.S. Unlocked: Default Perk My Opinion: Useful for SMG’s because they run around a lot, also when PRO, this will save your life from Claymore and Bouncing Bettys and I.M.S. SITREP: See enemy equipment and explosives Pro: Enemy has louder footsteps Unlocked: 19 My Opinion: Useful when playing Objective games wince people use a lot of claymores, bettys and C4. STEADY AIM: Increased accuracy when firing from the hip Pro: Weapon is ready faster after sprinting. Unlocked: 30 My Opinion: Really useful for CQC since you don’t have the time to ADS when someone pops out of nowhere, when PRO this is extremely helpful since you can aim faster after sprinting. DEAD SILENCE: Quieter footsteps and reduce effects of the Recon Perk Pro: No fall damage Unlocked: 55 My Opinion: Like in ninja in MW2, and PRO is like commando pro in MW2 as well, its an ok perk. ============ DEATHSTREAKS ============ JUICED: Move faster for 5 seconds Unlocked: Default Streak [4 Deaths] My Opinion: The starting streak, useful for just rushing in and taking people by surprise. REVENGE: See where the enemy who killed you on the mini-map Unlocked: 15 [5 Deaths] My Opinion: I haven’t used it so not sure. FINAL STAND: Have another chance to live if you survive. Unlocked: 32 [4 Deaths] My Opinion: The most used deathstreak since people die a lot this helps them out, useful when you have a bad game but can get right back into it after you heal all the way. MARTYRDOM: Drop a live grenade when killed Unlocked: 51 [4 Deaths] My Opinion: Useful if people run your way after dying since they die most of the time since it’s too late when come to it. DEAD MAN’S HAND: Blow up if knifed Unlocked: 57 [6 Deaths] My Opinion: Not sure it’s a good one but cool to take someone out when they knife you. HOLLOW POINT: Extra bullet damage for 1 kill Unlocked: 71 [5 Deaths] My Opinion: Useful for 1 kill and 1 kill only, I wouldn’t use it since 1 kill is easy to get. ============================================================================== XVI: Killstreaks [016] ============================================================================== They have introduced a new type of killstreak system which I think is more player friendly, they have put in 3 kinds of killstreaks Assault, Support, Specialist, I will explain and show what killstreaks are in each of them. ======= ASSAULT ======= So the Assault killstreak is the same one from all of the series, when you die your killstreak resets to zero. This brings in offensive strikes onto the opposing team. ============ UAV: 3 KILLS ============ So the standard killstreak of every Call of Duty series and if you never played a Call of Duty before it shows you the enemies on the mini-map which are highlighted as red dots. My Opinion: This is probably the best killstreak for any type of player in MW3, not only does it cost a low number of kills it helps you take out enemies to reach your bigger killstreaks. ===================== CARE PACKAGE: 4 KILLS ===================== Introduced in Modern Warfare 2, this killstreak drops a random killstreak or ammo from a helicopter. [NOTE: WHEN USING THIS KILLSTREAK MAKE SURE YOU DROP IT WHERE YOU CANT REACH IT] My Opinion: The Care Package is a 50/50 thing, sometimes you might get it and sometimes you won’t, the best thing to do is to throw with your team so you don’t have to let the enemy get it if you die. ============== I.M.S: 5 KILLS ============== A brand new addition to the franchise. This killstreak is the Bouncing Betty but 4x the fun, the mine will go off when an enemy is near, really helpful for watching ones back. [NOTE: IF USING STALKING PRO, YOU CAN RUN PAST IT, BUT IF YOU DONT HAVE IT, SAY BYE BYE.] My Opinion: This is pretty thing to have when your camping or holding down a position, not only does it automatically kill anyone who comes near it, it also makes a loud noise to tell you someone has tripped it, I really like this when I play objective games, the only problem is people with STALKER PRO which delays the IMS, also people who use EMP grenades or shoot it can destroy it as well. ======================== PREDATOR MISSLE: 5 KILLS ======================== The starting killstreak of MW2 and now MW3, this lets you control 1 missile from above, use it wisely as you only get one chance with it. [NOTE: USE THE RIGHT TRIGGER/R2 TO SPEED UP THE MISSILE] My Opinion: Now the Predator Missile is different is MW3 than it was in MW2, its harder to control for some reason, but it’s a good killstreak to reach your 6 or 7 streak. This is also nice to have to take out enemy air killstreaks or an Escort Airdrop since you one hit kill them all. ====================== SENTRY TURRET: 5 KILLS ====================== A nice friend to have beside you if you don’t have any, this killstreak targets any enemy in its range which rains bullets from its mouth. [NOTE: THIS CAN BE BEATEN WITH THE BLIND EYE PERK OR BY TOSSING A FLASH/CONCUSSION GRENADE AT IT] My Opinion: Not the best thing but a decent killstreak, this can be easily beaten without the BLIND EYE perk, just flash/stun it to get to and knife it to destroy it or just go around and destroy it from behind. =========================== PRECSION AIRSTRIKE: 6 KILLS =========================== A fun thing to do when the enemy is lined up, use this killstreak on the map to strike, aim from which direction to come from using the compass on the map. My Opinion: This killstreak is only meant for a open area map since this is a really weak killstreak because sometimes it takes 2 planes to kill you and if you have BLAST SHIELD perk you can live through it, I wouldn’t really use it. ========================== ATTACK HELICOPTER: 7 KILLS ========================== So this little killstreak provide air support for you and your team till it gets shot down or runs out of gas. A nice killstreak to have at the beginning. My Opinion: Now this a got a really big upgrade from what it was in MW2, not only is this helicopter more stronger, it follows you till you die most of the time, I recommend this killstreak. =================== STRAFE GUN: 9 KILLS =================== Its almost the same thing as the Attack Helicopter except there are 5 of them this time. Place which direction you want to come from and they will go forward and come back. My Opinion: It’s a decent killstreak, almost like the Attack Helicopter except is doesn’t fly around taking out enemies, this is best used with maps with minimal cover since its easy to run away from these things. ======================= AH-6 OVERWATCH: 9 KILLS ======================= You can in a little helicopter which has a machine gun turret on the bottom of it, just as good as the Attack Helicopter, more damage but easier to shoot down. My Opinion: This is pretty much like the Attack Helicopter except it does more damage. =============== REAPER: 9 KILLS =============== It’s the mini version of an AC-130, the difference is that the Reaper only shoots missiles. You have to wait till the missile blows before you can fire another one, it also laser sights where the missile going to hit. My Opinion: This just like a predator missile but you can control it way better, this is hard since you can’t fully guide the missile and can redirect if you hit the left stick/analog a little big, a fun but hard killstreak to master. ======================= ASSAULT DRONE: 10 KILLS ======================= You take control of your very own remote control car except this one has guns, use the drone to move through the map and fire its machine gun to kill people. [NOTE: THAT THIS CAN BE TAKE OUT BY AN EMP GRENADE] My Opinion: You get a mobile turret, you have a lot of health but move pretty slowly this is useful for clearing out a room of people when they are camping but is an easy kill by an EMP. ================ AC-130: 12 KILLS ================ Now were talking, DEATH FROM ABOVE BABY, this killstreak lets you take control of the AC-130, you can use the 3 types of weapons, [1] 105mm Howitzer which shoots 1 big cannon which has a big blast radius but needs time to reload, [2] 40mm Cannon which shoots multiple times but has a reduced blast radius, [3] 20mm Vulcan Machine Gun which fires a machine gun that is useful sometimes. [NOTE: TARGETS ARE HIGHLIGHTED WITH A RED SQAURE AROUND THEM UNLESS THEY ARE USING BLIND EYE, THIS CAN BE SHOT DOWN BUT IS HARD AS IT DEPLOYS FLARES] My Opinion: Probably the best controlled killstreak in the game, its hard to use of you don’t know how but can rack up the kills really fast if you know, you have to be able to cycle through all the weapons in a certain amount of time so by the time you switch back to them there already reloaded. ================= PAVELOW: 12 KILLS ================= The upgraded version of an Attack Helicopter, not only is it bigger but does more damage and can take more as well. My Opinion: This is the buff version of an Attack Helicopter, not only does have more health and do more damage but emits flares to prevent from getting shot down from launchers. ==================== JUGGERNAUT: 15 KILLS ==================== Now this is where the fun truly begins, this has to be airdrop, once you pick it up you become the Juggernaut with a Machine Gun. The cool thing is that you can take out people more easily as you can take more damage, the bad thing is that you are really slow and cant sprint for a long time as the class you picked gets replaced with the JUGGERNAUT class for this life. My Opinion: IDK, this is a good killstreak if you like a machine gun, taking a lot of damage, being slow as a slug and can aim while getting hit. ======================= OSPREY GUNNER: 18 KILLS ======================= This killstreak is like the Chopper gunner in MW2 and Black Ops, just hold down the fire button and away we go. My Opinion: I really haven’t used this so I don’t know what it does so can someone help me out please. ================ M.O.A.B 25 KILLS ================ This not a killstreak in the game because it prevents boosters, this the hardest killstreak to get since it takes 25 kills. This is the Nuke of the game but you can still keep playing, the downside is that its all dark and red for the rest of the match. My Opinion: Probably impossible to get since you can die so easily in the game, IDK if it exists in online play but in split screen it does. ======== SUPPORT ======== The Support Killstreak is a brand new addition to the game, not only does act as a regular killstreak but when you die your killstreak does not reset, this makes it easier for people beginning in the game as it helps them develop, the only problem is that you don’t get many killstreaks that kill. ============ UAV: 4 KILLS ============ So the standard killstreak of every Call of Duty series and if you never played a Call of Duty before it shows you the enemies on the mini-map which are highlighted as red dots. My Opinion: Same thing as above. ==================== COUNTER UAV: 5 KILLS ==================== This blocks out the map on the opposing team for certain amount of time unless it gets shot down. [NOTE: ASSASSIN PRO PERK IS NOT AFFECTED BY THIS] My Opinion: This is useful when people are using hardline on the other side to get there UAVS, since this blocks it out this is a good counter. ======================== BALLISTIC VESTS: 5 KILLS ======================== So these are like painkiller except these last forever till they come off, your screen will have a yellow aura around it. [NOTE: YOU CAN ONLY HAVE ONE VEST PER LIFE SO IF YOU LOSE IT YOU MUST DIE TO GET ANOTHER ONE]. My Opinion: Useful for people who can’t aim that well or get surprised, this can be your life saver if you have one. ===================== AIRDROP TRAP: 5 KILLS ===================== A fun killstreak to have around, this acts like a regular care package except this one has a lot of explosives in it. This will show on the mini map as a regular package for the enemies and for your team a skull. [NOTE: THE BLAST RADIUS FOR THIS IS PRETTY STRONG] My Opinion: Fun to use for people who haven’t played the game yet and don’t know what it does, throw to where the enemy is or place it in your spawn point and watch the little sucker die. ============ SAM: 8 KILLS ============ The Surface to Air Missile, this takes out any air killstreak, like in Black Ops the SAM has a limited amount of missiles before disappearing. My Opinion: Useful for taking down air killstreaks when you don’t got a launcher or your team doesn’t want to shoot it down. ===================== RECON DRONE: 10 KILLS ===================== This little guy is a remote controlled helicopter, this you can fly and tag enemies for your team to see on the mini-map. [NOTE: THE DRONE HAS CERTAIN RANGE, IF YOU GO TO FAR THEN YOUR SCREEN STARTS TO BE STATIC] My Opinion: Useful for small maps and pin pointing the enemy, this helps your team out if they are using Assassin. ====================== ADVANCED UAV: 12 KILLS ====================== If you played Black Ops you know what this does and for people who don’t know, this UAV tells which direction the enemy is facing making it easier for you to take them out. My Opinion: Probably the most used killstreak in the game, this helps out a lot since you can see which direction the enemy is facing making it easier for you to kill them. ======================= REMOTE SENTRY: 12 KILLS ======================= Almost like the sentry gun except this one you can control, you can go 180 degrees but can be destroyed easily. My Opinion: Not that good because you have to actually control it, you have to far enough so people don’t kill you while you are near, this also helps out since you can free aim at anyone making Assassin disabled. ======================== STEALTH BOMBER: 14 KILLS ======================== Like in MW2 this is an undetectable killstreak but can be heard, this killstreak is powerful bomber which kills anything in its path so get out of the way. My Opinion: The second most killstreak in MW3, not only it undetectable this usually kills everyone in 1 hit even if your using BLAST SHIELD, this will also make people disoriented if they near the explosion but not hit indirectly. ============= EMP: 18 KILLS ============= Like in MW2 this killstreak knocks any electronics on the enemy side, i.e. mini-map, sight attachments and killstreaks. [NOTE: UNLIKE IN MW2 YOUR AIR KILLSTREAKS ARE NOT AFFECTED BY THIS] My Opinion: This is really useful if the team is using a lot of killstreaks and sight attachments since it knocks out all electronics and they can’t see you on the map/mini map any more for 60 seconds. ========================= JUGGENAUT RECON: 18 KILLS ========================= This needs to be airdrop from a C-130, this allows you to be a Juggernaut but with a Riot Shield, USP.45 and Smoke Grenade. This is pretty much same as the Assault Killstreak except you get now machine gun. My Opinion: Not as good as the Assault Juggernaut but is just as good since you’re a defense Juggernaut, its useful for distracting enemies show your team can kill them. ======================== ESCORT AIRDROP: 18 KILLS ======================== This is like the emergency airdrop from MW2 but takes a lot longer for it to drop its care package. This will protect your packages so you have enough time to pick them up. [NOTE: THIS IS AN EASY KILLSTREAK TO DESTROY, USE A JAVELIN OR A PREDATOR MISSILE TO PREVENT THE PACKAGES]. My Opinion: This is a good killstreak to get if you can get it, this will help you and your team a lot since you get like 4-5 care packages usually with 1 of them being a TRAP PACKAGE. ========== SPECIALIST ========== The Specialist Killstreak is also a brand new addition to the game and can be used after reaching Lvl 20, this killstreak gives you perks instead of the usual killing ones, the killstreak resets as you die and is given in the order 2,4,6. [NOTE: YOU CAN ONLY PICK THE PERKS THAT YOU UNLOCKED AND CANNOT HAVE 2 OF THE SAME PERK] My Opinion: This actually a good way to be a pro since you dont use any killstreaks, I use this because I dont like using Support/Assault anymore and i want to give this a try. I recommend you use Blind Eye, Hardline and Stalker for your 3 base perks; Blind Eye keeps you safe from air support and sentries while hardline gives you the first perk after 1 kill, Stalker must be pro so claymores, bouncing betties and IMS dont kill you while running around. Now to start with the 3 killstreak perks, the first one should always be Assassin as this will protect from everything that can detect you and if you have it PRO its a bonus, depending on how you play the next 2 can be anything [I usually pick Extreme Conditioning so I can start moving around the map and Scavenger because I want to keep my gun and level it up], the killstreaks will be 1,3,5 since you have Hardline on and if you get 7 kills without dying you get the Specialist Perk which means you get the other 9 perks [NOT SURE HOW IT WORKS SO PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME] this is extremely helpful because you have 15 perks now [NOT SURE]. ============================================================================== Class Guide [CG] ============================================================================== Hi, like in my Black Ops guide I put a class guide section, meaning making a certain classes that help people out struggling with the game and to help them out.
