Walkthrough ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you follow this guide from beginning to end you will locate every item and all the stats through the game. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.1 - Prologue ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 3 Deathstone Corpses - 1 Gold - 3 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.1.1 - Caddoc's Dream ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Watch the cut scene of Caddoc's dream and he will finally land with a torch in hand in the middle of an ancient crypt. You will hear a woman's voice calling out to him, follow after the voice straight ahead through the cobweb filled hall. You will enter a new room and another cut scene will start waking Caddoc from his dream. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.1.2 - The Fountain of Elisha ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You will now be in control of E'lara, the two of you are in the middle of a quest looking for a Mana Fountain for a wizard. Follow after Caddoc to the raised drawbridge on the side of the creek. Caddoc will tell you to shoot the rope holding the drawbridge up, do so as the tutorial tells you to. Zoom in and get the target to turn green which indicates you're aiming at an interactive object. Also note that when your target is yellow you will be wasting an arrow and red means you are aiming at an enemy. After lowering the drawbridge follow Caddoc again as he tells you to pick up a pack of arrows someone left behind. Make sure to always look for arrows, these will be a huge part throughout the game. You will start to see something rustling in the grass off in the distance, continue on. Drop down the small cliff and learn to use the cover system as Aracklings appear across a chasm, shoot them down and then take the knocked over tree as a bridge across the gap. You will then learn to use your melee attacks to chop down the tall grass. Note that usually in this game when you are about to drop down to a lower section you most likely will never be able to climb back up; this means if you have unfinished business with a quest or forgot to finish a puzzle you more than likely have to reload from the last checkpoint. Once the grass is cut another wave of Aracklings come to attack, either run in to the group of them slashing away or shoot from a distance as Caddoc comes to help fight them. Once they are all killed off head over to the mana fountain you have been searching for to start a cut scene. Head over to the gate and help Caddoc open it. Now head through the narrow passage and move forward for a cut scene to meet Seraphine. When you regain control of E'lara start sprinting through the carnage as lightning strikes down around you tearing the place up. You then leap right in to the path of some Skeletons. Get behind the wall and use your bow to take them on from a distance. Pick up the Regenerative Vial after killing the last Skeleton as Caddoc starts to push the heavy object out of the way to get in to the ruins. Continue through the next set of Skeletons and wrap around to the right as Seraphine instructs you to meet her outside of Dyfed. Soon you will come up to a closed door. Light your arrows on fire and then shoot the brazier to open the door. You will then come up to a purple obelisk, activate it so you can now control Caddoc. Smash all the pots and urns, then push the pillar to open the door. Head in to the opening and open your first two @CRYSTAL Chests #01 and #02. Move forward and you'll run in to your first Deathstone body #01/53. This will give you a side quest to find an ax. Push forward up the stairs to learn about Fury Bonus just as more Skeletons come to attack. Wrap around the path to the left and eventually you will find a Weapons Rack to ransack. Depending on who breaks the rack a weapon specific for that person will appear. Now head forward to move on to the next area. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.1.3 - The Swamp of Despair ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cut the grass to the left and you'll find a chest full of gold going to the right and two piles of gold going to the left. Head back to the main path and move on. Learn about Health Vials and pick up the one laying around if you need it. In this structure you will find another Weapons Rack and some urns to smash open. Drop down the ledge and fight off the Aracklings that come around the corner. Wrap around the path as Caddoc sees the ax the Deathstone body was talking about. Read the plaque and then instruct E'lara to light the flame and shoot the brazier to get across and take the ax. Kill the skeletons that appear and wrap around the path moving on. Soon after you will be told how to block as Skeletons with armour show up at the fight. The easiest way to defeat these Skeletons is to perform a roll to get behind them and then attack the back. Soon you'll reach a door that requires both heroes to open it to continue on. Watch the cut scene and then learn to use magic. Head around the corner and then you will drop in to a pit to fight a lot of skeletons. Once they are all taken care of the room will light up. Head over to the large brown statue and have Caddoc push it open to reveal a doorway. Now you can either take the torch and light it or continue on with your ax down in to the crypts lower levels. Head left and kill the Skeleton as it comes up. Get the pile of gold and then turn around to go the other way and you will find more gold down a left tunnel along with another Skeleton. Check along the other side of the wall for another passage leading back up in to a small room and then opens up in to a larger room with some wooden platforms. Go down and around to the left heading back up the path to find a @CRYSTAL Chest #03. Now run across the other platforms and exit the room. Kill the Skeletons and then shoot the two ropes holding on to the pillar. Now use Caddoc's strength to push the pillar as the demon from his dreams starts to materialize across the pit. Once you push the pillar watch the cut scene. You will then enter a Magic Spell shop, the currency is the Full crystals you obtain. Go inside for a @CRYSTAL #04 and activate a SECRET #01/32. Smash the pottery and weapon racks and check out the left side for a Regenerative Vial. Use or pass up the obelisk on the right you will meet a new enemy called a Wargar. Watch the cut scene and then engage the enemy. Just before using the two person door go to the house just to the left of it and shoot the small rope above the door to open it revealing a chest of Gold as well as a pile of Gold inside SECRET #02/32. Now head through the two person doorway. Turn to the right and pick up the @DRAGON TEAR #01/13, now head around the alley and kill more Wargar. You will then come up to your first @PRISONER #01/32, shoot the rope above him to save him, then jump the low wall and pick up the pile of Gold. Continue up the path to hear a woman screaming, don't bother looking for her, instead kill the kneeling Wargar and then run up ahead to shoot down one of the fleeing Wargar in the distance for an achievement. @ACHIEVEMENT - Not on My Watch Kill the rest of the Wargar below and then check out the @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #02/53 just to the right of the building where she was yelling from. Head in to the door where the Wargar busted out of below the screaming woman. Drop down a floor and out the other door to carefully cross the narrow plank. Head straight ahead and you'll see some purple glowing weapon racks. Wrap around the front and shoot the small rope again to smash open the door. Let each character take a rack inside SECRET #03/32. Now head the way you skipped and Wargar will advance straight ahead. Go to the left and smash the two blue vials for items and take the Gold in the corner. Take care of the Wargar that you dodged a second ago. Head around the top of the wooden platform and get the @CRYSTAL #05 and head around to the bridge and kill the Wargar up there. Inside the room you can open another case and get an item. Head back around and drop down to the lower level in the area to help the other player take care of the Wargar. Soon another Wargar will open a door in the far right corner allowing you to advance once you push through. Now enter the two person door to the next area. In this new area you will come to a Magic Spell Shop. Go around another corner to find an obelisk so you can change characters if you wish and then free the second @PRISONER #02/32. Make your way through the building to see a cut scene and learn about the explosives that are set around town. Engage the enemy and go up to the top floor of the next building to locate a pile of Gold. Drop down below and start shooting the explosives around the area. Head forward and go up the stairs to the second floor. Look back out over the outside area that you just ran across and look down to the left for a hidden explosive barrel to shoot. This will then blow open the wall allowing access to a SECRET #04/32 with a @CRYSTAL #06 inside. Go all the way up the stairs after getting the crystal and jump out to the next area. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.2.2 - Smithy ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 4 Dragon Tears - 1 Prisoners - 2 Secrets - 2 Puzzles - 1 Gold - 8 Deathstone Corpses - 0 Head down the path and wrap around the corner to the right to shoot a sign down and enter the house for SECRET #05/32. Inside will be a @PRISONER #03/32 and out back is more Gold. Exit the house and go up the stairs to watch a cut scene and then fight another wave of Wargar. In the area with the huge bonfire kill off the Wargar and then open the @CRYSTAL #07 at the end of the area. Now go to the right and go through the heavy door. Head around the prison area and get E'lara to light her arrows, then shoot the brazier to reveal a secret area with a @DRAGON TEAR @02/13. Ignite E'lara's arrows and go past the Dragon Tear to smash through the wooden boards to get in to a passage no one has used in quite a long time. As you go down the stairs you will run in to our old friends the Skeleton army. Go over to the large stone head for PUZZLE #01/08 and stand to the right of it and get E'lara to light its other eye. Head way down in to the crypt...its quite the run down the stairs and pick up the three @CRYSTAL #08, #09, #10 and five Gold. Once you smash a Legendary Weapons rack you will wake more Skeletons. Head back up the now lit stairs as you hear a creature above making noises. You will run in to the Dread, a little more powerful than the rest of them. Take care of buisness and then head back out of this secret area, you may or may not have a skeleton waiting on the stairs again. Get the revival potion past the two person door and then use the door to move on. Go left and take on the Wargar as they come at you in another wave. Turn right and then hug to the left to jump over the two carts. Wrap around to the right and jump the low wall to find the final secret area of this first chapter. Rescue the @PRISONER #04/32 and then take the two Gold in the SECRET #06/32 on the other side of the low wall. Head back around and go left through the open doorway the Wargar left for you to move on to the next area. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.2.3 - Dyfed Inn ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 1 Dragon Tears - 1 Prisoners - 0 Secrets - 2 Puzzles - 0 Gold - 6 Deathstone Corpses - 1 Head along the path until you reach a cut scene getting out of the passageway. Head under the bridge and then Aracklings will attack you. Once they are dealt with a Wargar will open the gate and come out to attack you. Head through the passage to start a cut scene. Head up the stairs and go through the two person door. Kill the Wargar and wrap around to the left to get to some Gold. Have E'lara light her arrows and then set the hay wagon on fire. Now have Caddoc push the cart allowing you to move forward across some small boards. Kill the Wargar and then head up the stairs to the left and shoot the explosives across the way to take out the bridge as the dying soldier asked. Head up the path to reach the magic shop, a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #03/53, and the purple obelisk. Now head through the two person doorway. Head over to the building on the right just before the steps and shoot the small rope above the sign to smash it open for a SECRET #07/32. Inside you'll find Gold inside and out around the back to the right as well as two small item containers. Now head up the steps you skipped earlier to find the Wargar using a seige weapon on the inn. Go save the people by killing off the Wargar and jumping on the seige weapon yourself to take out the reinforcements. After the cut scene turn around and gather your spoils from the previous battle. Then move on and crawl under the hole at the end. Go through the rubble and stick to the right jumping down to get to the Gold. Now move forward and take on the Wargar and Aracklings together. Head up the stairs in the back to see a sniper tower, kill him and then shoot the small rope just below him holding up the sign. This will open the door revealing some explosives you can shoot to reveal more explosives on the front side of the building. Shoot these by going lower down the stairs to get a @CRYSTAL #11 inside SECRET #08/32 and some Gold. Now go back up the stairs and through the two person door. Around the corner is another Magic Shop, continue around and up the stairs. Wrap around to the left and open the chest for some Gold. Kill the Wargar in the area and go to the far back left of this four statue courtyard. You will need to push the wagon back to have E'lara access the fire. Head back down to the statues and have her light the statues brazier to open the secret passage. Head inside and pick up the @DRAGON TEAR #03/13. Now head back across the courtyard and off to the right and squeeze through the tight space. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.2.4 - Town Center ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 0 Dragon Tears - 0 Prisoners - 0 Secrets - 0 Puzzles - 0 Gold - 0 Deathstone Corpses - 0 You will find an obelisk in the corner, move forward to start a cut scene. Make your way around the Wargar towards the ballista for another cut scene as the Mayor finally shows his face to tell you to do something about the tower. Hop on the cannon and send a few shots in to the large tower to watch another cut scene. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.2.5 - City Exit 1 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 1 Dragon Tears - 0 Prisoners - 0 Secrets - 0 Puzzles - 1 Gold - 6 Deathstone Corpses - 1 Head along the path and you'll find the obelisk on the right and a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #04/53 straight ahead. Go down the hall and off to the left reaching a room with two Gold to pick up. This will then activate Skeletons to fight off. Head back out and up the stairs to the stone face, wrap around the corner and light E'lara's arrows on fire. Once lit head back to where the deathstone corpse was and have her light the brazier on the wall to open a secret passage. Go past the coffin and head over to the right checking the plaque on the wall to start the quest. Move forward a few feet and pick up the red rune. Go up the steps and have Caddoc push on the wall to open a passage. Head down the stairs and watch out for the circular switch that activates an arrow trap halfway down the steps. Look to the right as you head down the hall and get the Orange Rune. Head deeper in and as you get closer to the Azure Flame the wall will bust open as a large spider grabs the other player. Attack the large spider freeing the player and then have E'lara light her arrows. Head deeper down the path and kill off any Skeletons that may appear. Now head up the stairs and the wall will open on its own, kill the Skeleton waiting around the corner to the left. Head down this left path and have E'lara shoot the large brazier with the Azure Flame to open a secret passage across from it. Head inside this room to get the Purple Rune, and two Gold. Grabbing anything will make Skeletons appear. Now leave this room and head back to the right since you don't have to worry about the Azure Flame anymore and go down the tunnel and to the left, watch out for the circular plate that will trigger arrows if stepped on just as you enter the room. Wrap around to the right and get the Green Rune which activates a Dread. Check around the other corner for some Gold. Now go down the other hallway that has you drop off a board and you will enter a large fight with Skeletons. Take them down and then get the Gold in the corner as well as the two chests of Gold around the small wall. Now go down the hall and kill the Skeleton hiding in the left hallway, go further and grab the @CRYSTAL #12. Now head back and drop off the ledge back in to the room with the tomb. Go to the large door to your left and the wood locks will move out of the way, open the door. As you enter the room the occupant of the tomb will come to life and attack you with some smaller Skeletal forces. Take the small ones out first and then concentrate on the large Tomb Skeleton with arrows and magic trying to keep your distance as it has some really good melee attacks. Once you kill him off you will get a Health Vial and a magical key the poem told you about earlier. Head back in the unlocked chamber and have E'lara light her arrows with the Azure Flame once again. Now make your way back to the stone face statue as a Dread comes out and attacks at the top of the stairs. Take it out and relight your arrows if you have to, then get to the stone face. Have E'lara shoot one of the eyes in the statue to open the way forward solving PUZZLE #02/08 and open the two person door. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.2.6 - Keep Entrance ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 2 Dragon Tears - 0 Prisoners - 1 Secrets - 2 Puzzles - 0 Gold - 1 Deathstone Corpses - 1 Head around the winding pathway and exit the tunnels to notice the Keep of Dyfed up ahead. Head up and to the left towards the barn and get the Gold out of the chest and rescue the @PRISONER #05/32 inside the barn. Now head over to the other barn and watch the cut scene as Wargar with armor come busting through the barn doors. Head in once they are disposed of and look to the left about halfway in for a @CRYSTAL #13 and then run across back outside this other doorway to get a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #05/53. Head up the stairs inside the barn again as two more Wargar with armor come busting through a wall. Head through where they came from and drop down to the ground. Head in to the cornfield and fight more Wargar. In this area where you fought the Wargar you can chop the crops down just to the left for a SECRET #09/32 to get a new decent shield and some item jars. Now head back in to the normal path in the corn field and soon you'll run in to more Wargar...followed by two Wargar with armor. Once they are disposed of you can find another SECRET #10/32 in the right corner of this area for more item jars. Now head up to the large gate and pass through the doorway to move on. Just to your left when you exit the door you can grab a @CRYSTAL #14. You also can visit the Magic Shop and the obelisk to switch characters. Go up to the door and activate it for a cut scene and then you will be in a big fight against the boss battle of the Infected Wargar. Defeating this enemy with each character gets you an achievement for each. @ACHIEVEMENT - The Iron Triangle @ACHIEVEMENT - The Dr. Is In @ACHIEVEMENT - Hello Nurse! Now head through the narrow passageway where the bats came out of. You will find an obelisk to use if you wish. Head straight ahead to find a @PRISONER #06/32 you can either free now or wait till you get face to face with them. You can also smash the corner of the wall open just before getting to the right turn where the prisoner is to make sort of a shortcut. Head up the stairs and sneak up on the two Wargar talking to eachother. In the corner you will also find a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #06/53 with a quest for you. Continue down the path and free the prisoner on the left if you haven't done so already. Move on and cross the bridge as the townspeople are being forced to cross the room below. Head straight past the large door and have Caddoc move the wall to get to a chest with Gold. Now head through the two person door. Kill all of the Wargar and then go through the gate that opens up allowing you to move forward. You will now be in the room where the townspeople were just seen in, the gate will close and you will be attacked by the Wargar. When you defeat them all look on the left side (when facing from when you first came in to the room) and kick open the door on the side here. Kill the Wargar with armor in here and then continue on to find a @CRYSTAL #15. Leave this tunnel and look for some stairs diagonally up and to the left in the main room. Up the stairs you will find a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #07/53 and then go in to the door at the top of the stairs for Gold and light E'lara's arrows if they aren't already. Head downstairs and go to the left to find a sealed door. Just to the left of the door is a hole, have E'lara shoot the arrow through the crack and hit the brazier on the other side to unlock the door; it can be tricky getting the AI to shoot it but it is possible. Head in to the door for SECRET #12/32 to find a @CRYSTAL #16. Now go to the right and head through the two person door. Head down the stairs and go left to kill a Shadow Crawler and also find a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #08/53. Light E'lara's arrows and have her short the brazier. Take off running down the stairs immediately as the fire heads down the line and eventually runs out. You will want to look to the right as you run down the stairs for a hole in the wall. Here you can kill an Arackling and get to a SECRET #13/32 with an Enchanted Weapon Rack inside. Head down the rest of the stairs and drop in to the hole below to fight the Arackling Crawlers. Get the Gold and then find the @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #09/53 in a corner. Wrap around to the right and locate a tunnel that heads towards a small fire. Head to the back and then smash the wooden wall to continue in to another room with a @DRAGON TEAR #04/13. Head down the spiral stairs. Head in to the Crypt of Eternity and kill the rushing Arackling Crawlers. Soon you will reach a room with a book to read which starts a quest. Head around either side and you will find some weapon racks, a vase to smash, and an obelisk in the upper left corner. Get on the platform and you will need to shoot an arrow at the bell straight ahead. You will know which bells you can use to move to the next destination by the small glow they give off underneath them when they are ready to be used. Go to the closest hall on your right by moving one bell over to the right. As you move forward the giant spider creature will smash through the wall on your left, depending on who is in the way it will grab them. Either help the other player or tap the A Button to free yourself from its grasp. Head deeper in and get the two lumps of Gold and then get the Key out of the chest which also activates some Skeletons. Head back to the platform and shoot the bell straight ahead and then to the left so you are back where you started. Take the newly acquired key and unlock the door straight ahead to find a Heart. Now head back on to the platform and go forward three times and right once. At this spot you will locate another puzzle, you already have the Heart so the door will open revealing a huge column of fire ahead. Step on the round pressure plate to see it de-activates the flames, then have the other person step on it so you can approach the spot that was burning. Pick up the Ash from the spot and then fight off the Skeletons that attack. Get back to the platform and go forward once and right twice to reach another doorway. Head in and look to the right to find a Skeleton thats usually already there and ready to fight. Head in and take the three Gold drops...watch out for the one to the left of the brazier as the huge spider creature will attack once again. Now have Caddoc stand on the circular pressure plate while E'lara lights her arrows. Once they are lit have her shoot the corpse and gather the Ash left behind. Now head back to the platform where a Skeleton will most likely attack you on your way. Take the platform to the right once, left once, and then right again once as a Dread manifests back at your starting point. Head back and read the book again letting the floor raise up solving the PUZZLE #03/08 and reveal two @CRYSTAL #17 and #18 and some rare weapon racks. You should have two weapon slots unlocked for quite a while now if you have been following my guide, use this time to equip a rare weapon in each slot to unlock an @Achievement - Like Butter. Now head back out and up the stairs, turn right in the large room and go through the two person door. Head down the path as some Arackling attack from up the path. Have E'lara light her arrows and then shooth the brazier which lights up a line through the hall that doesn't last long. At this point you must run through and avoid the Aracklings that show up until you reach the end of the tunnel. Fight off a few of them and then drop down to the lower ledge, followed by dropping down to the lower level. Once you are on the lower level you must fight off a wave of more Aracklings. Once they are disposed of look through some of the doorways to locate a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #10/53 and then make your way around the rubble picking up the Gold before heading through the door. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.3.2 - Prison ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 2 Dragon Tears - 1 Prisoners - 4 Secrets - 2 Puzzles - 0 Gold - 2 Deathstone Corpses - 2 Head down the path and you will start a cut scene along with locating an obelisk if you want to switch characters. Go up the stairs to use the Magic Shop and then go through the hole in the wall to the right and squeeze through the wall. Drop down to the floor below and fight off the Wargar or snipe the enemies from above. Drop down if you haven't already and pull the lever on the right side of the cells to open three doors, two of which have a @PRISONER #07/32 and #08/32. The last cell has another rare weapons rack. Look on the other side for a lever that opens the cell allowing you over to the @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #11/53. Go to the winch and open the next gate to move on, kill off the Wargar with armor and the infected Wargar. ******************************************************************************* CAUTION - GLITCHY AREA!!! Do not climb the slanted pillar by the winch, it will trap you in place at the top forcing you to load your last checkpoint. ******************************************************************************* Head up the stairs to the second floor and head around the balcony going through the hole in the wall. You will find a circular pressure plate in the floor, have the other person shoot an arrow in the opening this plate opens, the gate will now raise below...but there is more work to be done up here first. Head around to the fire and pull the lever to raise all the gates on the second floor. Next to the lever is some Gold. Next to that is a @PRISONER #09/32. Head to the opposite corner from the fire to free another @PRISONER #10/32. Now drop down to the floor below and get to the gate you unlocked earlier for a @DRAGON TEAR #05/13. Head back to the second room and turn the winch in the upper left corner. Cross the deep water and head down the hall to the corner where a Skeleton will attack you on the right. Explore the room for items and move on through the two person door. Kill the Wargar and head up the stairs to the left. Continue in to the wall and smash through the wall in to a SECRET #14/32 and grab the @CRYSTAL #19 as more Wargar come to attack. Continue up the path fighting through the Wargar as they come at you. At the top where you find the chest of Gold and the two person door, look in the lit alcove for three skulls sitting on the wall to be shot with an arrow, this will open the wall next to it. Inside the room you will find a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #12/53 as well as a false wall that Caddoc can push back. In this SECRET #15/32 you'll find another @CRYSTAL #20. Now head through the two person door. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.3.3 - Crane Room ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 0 Dragon Tears - 0 Prisoners - 0 Secrets - 0 Puzzles - 0 Gold - 1 Deathstone Corpses - 1 Head past the obelisk unless you want to use it and kick in the door straight ahead. Get over to the platform and have the other person turn the crank. At this time ready your arrows and look across the pit as Wargar will soon appear and you must kill 20 of them before the platform hits the bottom for an achievement. @ACHIEVEMENT - Rampage Once the platform makes it to the bottom head down the stairs and kill the Wargar with armor heading up after you. Go down the stairs it came up and shoot the explosives to create a bridge for the other player. Head in to the cave and crawl through the hole in the wall. Head down the path and look to the right for a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #13/53. In the corner ahead you'll find the Magic Shop and an obelisk. Now head further down the path and jump the flames. Right on the other side you must fight the oncoming wave of Arackling Crawlers. Go in to the right side caverns and open the chest for Gold. Wrap around the room and get through the two person door to get in to the next area. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.3.4 - Descent ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 2 Dragon Tears - 1 Prisoners - 1 Secrets - 2 Puzzles - 0 Gold - 4 Deathstone Corpses - 4 Run forward to start a cut scene as you see a really large creature moving about in the distance. Now turn to the right and look down the stairs as a group of Wargar come rushing up them. Search for items along the top and then head down the stairs for another wave of Wargar. Go to the right of the stairs they just came up from to find a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #14/53 and some Arackling Crawlers to kill. Now go down the stairs you skipped over earlier and go through the two person door. Step forward and watch a cut scene and then kill the Wargar strapped in to the machine (I can't figure out how to turn it on...or if you even can? Please let me know) then use the door just to the left of the machine. Move forward and fight the oncoming Wargar forces. Once they are all killed a second reinforcement wave will show up. Head through the door and go down the stairs to cross a small plank. Drop down the two ledges and turn around to find a hidden alcove on the left holding a pile of Gold. Kill more Arackling Crawlers and then head through the two person door. Head down the stairs and watch a cut scene, afterwards more Wargar will come to attack you from the distance. Fight your way down the ramp to a larger area and clean out the enemies. Find the hole in the wall and head in to fight more Arackling Crawlers and pick up the Gold found inside. Head down more stairs and through the two person door. Watch the cut scene and then head across the bridge to your right and fight the waiting Wargar. After crossing the second bridge and dealing with the Wargar check under the two yellow topped stalls for a pile of Gold. Now head through the two person door. Make your way down the small spiral stair section and then down more stairs to reach the bottom. You will find a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #15/53 on the left as well as to the left of that are some explosive barrels you need to shoot. This will blow open a hole in the wall revealing a @CRYSTAL #21 inside the SECRET #16/32. Continue on your path and soon you will start a cut scene. Head in after the giant spider and kill the Arackling Crawlers that attack, then crawl under the boards ahead. Look to your right and free the @PRISONER #11/32. Press forward as a wave of Wargar rush up the stairs after you, take them down and continue to descend the stairs further down. Before heading down the ramp to the lower part go over to the spot where you are at an overhang and standing to the left of the single gargoyle statue. Take out your bow/crossbow and shoot the explosives barrel straight ahead located in one of the holes to open a secret room. Soon a few heavily armored Wargar will attack, take them down and wrap around the ruins. As you move forward you will see a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #16/53 on the other side of the wall. Now go through the hole you created earlier to find a @CRYSTAL #22, Gold, and a @DRAGON TEAR #06/13. Wrap around the ruins and activate another @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #17/53. Now head under the fallen beams. Watch the cut scene and then descend the ramp in front of you. You must fight through Arackling Crawlers and some of the Wargar archers. Be careful as you head towards the archway, you will be attacked on both sides by Wargar with armor as well as more Wargar running up from the sides. Go down another ramp in the back of this area and go in to the cobwebs off to the far left to find a weapon rack that usually has a better crossbow for Caddoc. Now go through the two person door off to the right. In this room you will find the Magic Shop and obelisk. Head through the crack in the wall to move on. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.3.5 - Ballista City ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 4 Dragon Tears - 0 Prisoners - 1 Secrets - 1 Puzzles - 1 Gold - 10 Deathstone Corpses - 1 Head left for some items and then go right down the tight space as Caddoc comments on it. Just as he has a hunch ballista fire will come through the hall attacking the players. Get against a wall inside the hallway and snipe the archers protecting the ballista. Once they are clear run to each cover spot and quickly move on to the next as the ballista will destroy them trying to get to you. Move around to the side quickly and get up the stairs to scare off the Wargar. Hop on the ballista and then use it to kill the Wargar and then shoot the catwalks along the walls to prevent more enemies from coming. Get off the ballista and head through the doorway on the side of the room. Go up the stairs and head through the two person door. Kill the enemies attacking you from across the bridge then turn around to shoot the skull above the door you just came in from. Head down the stairs and look to your right for a @PRISONER #12/32 to free. Just to the left of the prisoner shoot the explosives to open a room with a shield and a skull you need to shoot. Now head the opposite way and just before reaching the back set of stairs look to the right for a third skull to shoot. Head under the stairs and find the final skull above the door you are unlocking. Enter the door for SECRET #18/32 once all four skulls are destroyed to find two chests of Gold and a @CRYSTAL #23. Now head up the stairs again and across the bridge and down the other side to fight more Wargar. Now head through the two person door. Clear out the archers and the Wargar out on both of the wooden platforms, then go through the middle to take on more of them. Soon you'll find out that the giant spider is molting as the shell of its now smaller body is straight ahead of you. Pull the lever to the left of the shell and drop down in to the pit. Then squeeze through the crack in the wall. Head down the stairs and fight the Wargar with armor. Smash the wooden barrier straight ahead and go in to the Catacombs. Turn to the right and drop in to the hole. You will have to fight off some Aracknid Crawlers and then climb some stairs to find a @CRYSTAL #24. Drop down and then return to the previous room and take the tunnel to the right. Pick up the pile of Gold and then go around the sarcophagus and have both players stand on the pressure plates to move the wall back. Go down the stairs and move forward to find another large stone face give you a puzzle you must solve. Head off to the left and go through the doorway straight ahead and then look left for a pile of Gold. Continue deeper in to the catacombs and you will run in to a Skeleton at the bottom of the stairs. When you reach the door that requires a skull go to the left to find a chest of Gold you can take. Head deeper in and wrap around to the right and wind around killing another Skeleton. Turn the crank on the pump to shut the water off and head in just a little deeper to get some Gold, this activates some Aracknid Crawlers. Make your way back to the section where the waterfall was and kill the Dread that appears. Light E'lara's bow and then go to where the water was and have her light the brazier. Head in to the new area, kill the Skeleton and take the Skull at the end. Now head back to the door that requires the skull and put it in its place to unlock it. Head inside and go down the stairs and get the two @CRYSTALs #25 and #26 and the living flower, which activates a lot of Skeletons outside. Head out the door and kill off the Skeletons that rise up against you. Make your way up through the catacombs and back to the stone face to open it up with the living flower solving PUZZLE #04/08. Grab the pile of Gold and then pull the lever inside. Now go inside the newly opened room and watch the cut scene. Kill the Skeleton and take its Orb Key, then open the chest for more Gold. Leave the catacombs and go to the right as you leave the wooden barrier you smashed. Look to the right in the first room for a pile of Gold on the ground. Now head down the stairs and use the two person door. Head around and drop off the ledge, look off to the right and you will find a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #18/53. Down here you will also find a Magic Shop and an obelisk. Pick up the pile of Gold under the ramp you dropped from and then head through the two person door. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.3.6 - Spider Lair ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 2 Dragon Tears - 0 Prisoners - 0 Secrets - 0 Puzzles - 0 Gold - 1 Deathstone Corpses - 0 Head forward for a cut scene. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ IMPORTANT NOTE!!! Gather any item drops and then head through the doorway that was opened to start a cut scene. Head down the stairs fighting through the Wargar as they advance on you. Once all of the enemies are dead watch another cut scene. Have E'lara light her arrows and then stand on the circular platform to get her to shoot the brazier across the room and open a doorway below it. Head through the now open door and take the chest of Gold. Climb the stairs on the opposite side and approach the alter with the sword in it to activate a lift, you don't have to lift the sword up. Pick up the @CRYSTAL #27 and head down this tunnel dropping two levels. Pick up another @CRYSTAL #28 and head towards the obelisk. Drop in to the large cavern and move forward to start a cut scene. You must run away from the huge spider, reaching a wall shortly that will fall from the ground shaking. In this next section you must avoid the Arackling Crawlers and Wargar coming to attack you as you run to the other side, once again waiting at a wall for it to fall. Once this wall has fallen get over to the ballistas and open fire on the giant spider. Eventually you will widle its health down and then you must shoot the rock above it a few times to make it deliver the final blow. Rescue the @PRISONER #13/32 and take the Gold out of the chest beside him. Cross another bridge and then go underneath the tree. You will have an Obelisk and a magic shop on the right as the prisoners are marching in the background to your left. As you head down to the left as well you will find another @PRISONER #14/32. Head further down the path to some ruins where a firefight will break out with some Wargar archers. Take them out and then drop down the ledge to the area below. Slash the grass to your right and pick up the Gold in the SECRET #19/32. Move on to engage another wave of Wargar then head through the low wall. Clear out another area within the ruins of Wargar to open a doorway and head in for a cut scene. Turn to the left and cut the grass to find a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #19/53, then aim at the explosives on the bridge to create a ramp and then head around the path in the SECRET #20/32 for a @CRYSTAL #29 and some Gold. Continue on the path through the door you were told to head through. Kill the Wargar as you dodge the catapults and wrap around to the left. You will usually see another human running around here but he doesn't seem to help fight much. Continue pressing forward and then go through the two person door along the right wall. During this time you will be inside so you won't have to worry about the catapults. Kill the Wargar and then head through the two person door on the other side to go back out for a cut scene. You must now fight through the Wargar and get to the catapult. Wrap around the outer right and get up the wooden ramp to flank around and take over the catapult. Turn to the left and aim low at the rocks blocking the path to blow them out of the way. Help your partner and then drop down and watch the cut scene. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.4.2 - Descent ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 5 Dragon Tears - 0 Prisoners - 2 Secrets - 1 Puzzles - 1 Gold - 10 Deathstone Corpses - 3 Head along the path deeper in to the forest and you'll find another magic shop and obelisk to use. Move forward and you'll eventually see a woman talking in the close distance on the left, go down the right path and look along the right for a room that opens up and contains a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #20/53. Head down the path and you will start fighting more Wargar just after you get a little scene about getting closer to the temple. Just before you have to jump across a gap in the path head to the left to find a small camp with a @CRYSTAL #30 and some Gold. Leave the small camp and wrap around the wall to the left to jump the gap. Carefully move forward and take out the Wargar that comes towards your position across the bridge. Now head over the bridge yourself and take an immediate right to go down a path behind the waterfall. Follow this path to get another @CRYSTAL #31 and Gold. Head along the path and as you wrap around in a sharp left turn you will have to fight through another wave of enemies. Check the small camp to the right for items and then continue along the path. Before dropping down go to the left across the watery path and collect the Gold out of the chest in the SECRET #21/32. Now head back to the normal path and drop down a level. Head in to the cave on the left and free the @PRISONER #15/32 for a cut scene, this is Peredurs wife, she will give you a location as to where he should be found. Once she is rescued Wargar will run in to the cave and attack you. Head up the steps and you will have a chance to drink some Sledge as a cut scene starts releasing a lot of Wargar at you. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ IMPORTANT NOTE!!! ONCE AGAIN, IF YOU ARE TRYING FOR ACHIEVEMENTS IT IS BEST NOT TO DRINK THE SLEDGE ON YOUR FIRST PLAYTHROUGH BUT INSTEAD TO RELOAD A PART LATER IN THE GAME ONCE YOU HAVE COMPLETED IT TO GET THE ACHIEVEMENT ASSOCIATED WITH TAKING A DRINK!!! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Once you finish off the first round of Wargar the enemies up top will summon more to attack you. Once this smaller backup wave is taken care of, head through the door and use the two person door. Look to your right just a few steps ahead for a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #21/53. Jump the gap and head deeper in to the forest as you drop down a level. You have the choice of sneaking around the flanks or just charging right in to battle. Carefully head up to the left going uphill and then have E'lara take out the Wargar Archer up on the high ground, this may alert the enemy but they won't know where you came from, so you will be safe. Take out the rest of the Wargar and then a door will open heading off to the left. As you head deeper in to the cave you will be attacked by Arackling Crawlers. Kill the Wargar and head to the back of the cave and smash through the doors for items and then to free Peredur, a @PRISONER #16/32. Start heading back out of the cave killing the Wargar as they come. Once in the field again take out the wave of Wargar. Once they are disposed of the enemy will lower the bridge and send more troops in to attack you. Cross the bridge and look over to the right for a @CRYSTAL #32 and Gold. Now move on and drop to the lower section ahead. You must cross the log and then you can gather items, visit the magic store, and switch characters at the obelisk if needed. Smash the wooden fence just to the right of the two person door to find the path to The Lost Temple. When you start to head through the bamboo section look on the left for some grass you can cut down to find some Gold. Move forward through another part you have to cut through, you will find a small camp and a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #22/53. Chop through the grass on the left side of camp to find a crow to have E'lara shoot down. Go back to camp and crawl through the hole slightly to the left. Head up the path and you'll locate some ruins. Look on either side for the pressure plate switches and both characters must stand on it to open the next gate. Pick up the three piles of Gold and then get the start to the puzzle from a stone face. Start to head back and drop down before heading down the ramp to land in a new section. Wrap around to the left and get the glowing flower. Now head the other way and cut through the tall grass to reach camp. Now head back to where you killed the bird earlier and collect it. Now cut your way through the grass here to enter a cave and collect the amber found on the cave wall. Now take the three ingredients back to the camp and start a fire. Have E'lara use her bow and light the arrows, then go through the narrow passage again. On your way up to the temple this time a Dread will have appeared, take it down and then have E'lara light the eyes of the stone wall face. Head inside the room solving the PUZZLE #05/08 to get two Epic Weapon drops, two chests of Gold, and two @CRYSTAL #33 and #34. Now head back out of this area to the main path and shop at the magic store. Once done head through the two person door to reach the next area. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.4.3 - Encampment ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 1 Dragon Tears - 1 Prisoners - 11 Secrets - 2 Puzzles - 0 Gold - 3 Deathstone Corpses - 2 Run down the path a little bit and look to the left for an opening to SECRET #22/32. In the far back corner of the opening is a @DRAGON TEAR #07/13. Now head along the path, the following has a lot of prisoners you can rescue...with one catch, you must keep them alive as the Wargar attack. Quickly dispose of the Wargar and stop them from getting near the @PRISONER #17/32 and the horn. If they are able to blow the horn reinforcements will come. Head through the newly opened gate and free the @PRISONER #18/32 to the right from a distance. Position yourself between the prisoner and the horn to keep the enemies away from both. Once the area is secure move on to the next gate set that has opened. Here you will have a @PRISONER #19/32 on the left and a @PRISONER #20/32 on the right. Throw some magic at the enemies when they are about in the middle to start a little confusion and then rush in to kill them off. Rescue the prisoners and take out the reinforcements that come through the next gate ahead. Once done head through it yourself. In this next section you will have a @PRISONER #21/32 on the left, @PRISONER #22/32 in the middle, and a @PRISONER #23/32 on the far right. The horn is near the middle prisoner. Rush in with a magic attack and push them back away from the prisoners to get enough buffer room to work with. Head up the path and open the chest for some GOLD. Head through the gate and then kill off the next encampment rescuing a total of four more @PRISONERS #24, #25, #26, #27. Just before going through the gate chop down the tall grass to the left to enter a SECRET #23. Inside grab the two packs of Gold and the @CRYSTAL #35. Head through the gate and squeeze between the rocks. Run up the hill to your immediate right and activate the @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #23/53. Head in to the ruins and check for items, then go through the two person door in the room to the right. Now you must head along the path towards the temple killing more Wargar as the catapults guarding the entrance fire upon you. Rush up the big hill along the far side and then kill the Wargar up top. Quickly jump on the catapult and defend your position from the Wargar coming up the hill from where you just came from. Head inside the temples first door and go to the right of the two person door to find another @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #24/53. Head inside the two person door to move on to the next area. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.4.4 - Temple Puzzle ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 2 Dragon Tears - 1 Prisoners - 0 Secrets - 1 Puzzles - 0 Gold - 2 Deathstone Corpses - 2 Head up the path towards the purple obelisk and then go to the left to enter a flooded area. Wrap around to the right and pick up the @CRYSTAL #36 on the far wall. Now go to the right up the steps towards the portal shop and take a left to reach the two person door. After the cut scene head to the right and collect the crystal shards and then shoot the explosives with an arrow to free the chain. Now head to the other side and turn the crank to raise the beam to use it as a ramp. Allow your partner time to get on before you unbalance the beam. Once balanced out each person must get on to the opposite sides of the stone walkway above. Head to the right once you hit the next main room and take the shield off the wall if you need a new one. Once you head towards the middle of the room Wargar will start to attack. Get up the steps in the middle and once again balance across the beam to reach both sides. Kill off the Wargar as you make it to the steps that lead down. Activate the @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #25/53 for a sidequest. You must find the four crows in this room which can all be shot from the level that you currently are on. 1. On the pillar to the right of the first beam 2. To the right of the second beam 3. In the tree with no leaves in the almost center of the room 4. Next to the long stairs leading up Once you kill all four crows head up the stairs to the first landing and you will see a breeze coming from the left wall. Have Caddoc push the wall in and head down the hallway to get @DRAGON TEAR #08/13 as well as two treasure chests with GOLD. Now head the rest of the way up the stairs and go through the two person door. Head down the hallway and kill the Arachnids and Wargar Archers. Continue through the hall and go through another two person door. After the cut scene you must fight two minotaurs. Get them to charge through the pillars with explosives to kill them off fast. Now head up the stairs and go over to the portal to start a cut scene. Once it is done you must fight four more minotaur, Wargar, and some Arachnid. Have a minotaur ram the white statue for SECRET #24/32 as it reveals a @CRYSTAL #37. Once the battle is over the doors on the far end will open to allow to more warriors in. Dispose of them and then head through the doors. Head through the tunnel and watch out as the floor starts to break apart soon. On the other side of the hall you will find a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #26/53. Continue down the hall and go through the two person door. After the cut scene jump on one of the two catapults and open fire on the rushing Minotaur as they come out of the forest towards you. Now wrap around the wall with the plaque on it to have Caddoc stand on the pressure plate and this will light the face on fire. Have E'larra light her bow and then head down the path a little bit to have her light the head up on the right. The light will then shine towards the next head, have E'larra light this next one. The third is very close right across the path, a fourth will be a little further up the path back across the walkway. Once this one is lit you will have to back track a small bit past the third head to locate the final head to light. Once this is lit the light will shine on the wall where Caddoc must use his strength to move it. Inside will be a shield, a @CRYSTAL #38, Gold, and a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #29/53. Now run across the path where the entrance was to this area you found and smash open the wooden wall ahead. Head down the stairs and kill the Skeleton that attacks around the corner. Take a right at the intersection and go over to find @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #30/53. Now turn back the way you came and take the first left path. You will head up an extremely dark corridor and it will turn to the left to reach an old alter room. Read the book on the table for a riddle. When facing the book walk up to the wall in the upper left corner to have Caddoc push it open. Inside you will find a chest on the right side of the wall holding the key. Now head out of the alter room and take a left to go back the way you came in to the place. Head down the tunnel to your right and use the key you just obtained. Inside you will find a large room with a fountain in the middle. Head to the left and go inside the door on the left to use the lever. This will shut off the fountain. Now head back to the room with the fountain and continue left. Light E'larras' bow again if you haven't already and then have her send an arrow to the boat underneath the statue. This starts a puzzle. The door ahead will open, head through it. Have E'larra light the brazier across the chasm and then have someone stand on the pressure plate to the right of the chasm, this will build a bridge. Cross the bridge and head to the left as you fight off the Skeletons. Once they are all dealt with pull the lever on the wall in the corner to lock the bridge in place so the other character can get across. Now use the lever in the middle of the room and turn it the three times the statue said too. Have E'larra light the tapestries in the corners with arrows and then you will reveal some special rooms. In one you will find an enchanted weapon rack and some Gold. The other tapestry on the opposite side has more Gold and @CRYSTAL #39. Head back across the bridge to the large room and fight a skeleton. You will notice the water has now retreated further down in the hole. Head back out the door you originally came in when you used the key. You must now head through the dark path and go back towards the deathstone corpse you found earlier. Now you can take the left just before the corpse as the water is no longer in this area. Head down the stairs to reach a wooden ramp and head deeper down in to the well. At the bottom squeeze through the crack in the wall to move on. Move forward as a giant spider may attack from the right through a tunnel off to the side as you approach the chest area. Get out of its clutches if you get caught and move on to collect the two @CRYSTAL #40 and #41, the pile of Gold and the chest of Gold. Now go around the corner to where the spider attacked and head up the path way tunnel. Head up the stairs and collect another @CRYSTAL #42. Enter the hallway and go through the large two person door. You will then have completed PUZZLE #06/08 and find yourself back outside with the obelisk in front of you. Head down the way you've been working your way through and visit the portal store in case you need to spend any of your crystals. Now go through the two person door to start a boss fight. This teleporting woman/demon will place a lot of staffs around the fighting area. Now drop down the level and head up the stairs. Turn to the left and run over to where the purple obelisk is, look to the left and you can smash through the wooden planks on the side. Head to the right and read the plaque, then go left and drop down to reach a @CRYSTAL #42 and also be in SECRET #25/32. Now head back to the plaque and go to the right this time. Now you must fight the skeleton army as they rise from the ground. Once they are all dealt with have both characters stand on the switches in the center of the two circular stone sections to start a fire. Now have E'larra reignite her arrows and have her shoot the brazier on the upper pillar behind you. Now have Caddoc shove the smaller pillar in to the tall one you just lit to have it light as well. Repeat this lighting braziers and pushing them process for the ones on the left and the right to move on. Head up the small steps and drop in to the newly opened crypt. Head over to the fire and have E'larra light her arrows on fire. Walk a little ways down to the water and set the brazier on fire over on the little island, this will make a platform appear in the water to create a bridge. Head towards the island and you can have E'larra shoot another brazier on the right to make a short bridge appear. Now wrap around this new path and get against the far wall and reach the other end. Have E'larra light the brazier just to the right of the pillar by the next sunken pathway to raise it. Head back over to the island and down the new path you opened. Take a right at the giant head and go around the tomb. Here you will locate a chest to open, open it and activate the Tomb Skeleton. Kill off the Tomb Skeleton and the others and take the Yellow Sphere. Now head over to the Ancient One statue face you passed up earlier. Head inside for two enchanted weapon racks and a chest of Gold, this also solves another PUZZLE #07/08. Now head back to the island and head along the original hidden path up to the two person door and head through to move on. Imediately check on the @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #31/53. Head up the stairs and kill the Wargar. Head over to the chest on the right side with Gold in it, and then go check on the magic shop on the opposite side in case you can buy anything. Head up the stairs and straight back to the next @DEATHSTONE CORPSE 32/53. Head out and to the left. Head through the hole in the building wall and navigate around inside to find a pile of Gold on the ground by a dead body. Now turn around and head back to where the magic shop is located, head through the two person door. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.5.2 - Black Hearts & Red Blood ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 2 Dragon Tears - 1 Prisoners - 1 Secrets - 0 Puzzles - 1 Gold - 1 Deathstone Corpses - 1 Pass the obelisk and head up the steps for a cut scene and then go through the two person doors. Head in to the courtyard and kill the Wargar. Once they are all dealt with head forward in to the house, there is two weapon racks to the left and the way forward over to the right. Watch the cut scene and then engage the Wargar as they pour in to the area. Soon after a Minotaur will break in through a wall, look out for the Wargar Snipers on the upper floors all around you as they try to take pot shots at you. Head straight back and up the stairs in the back before heading over to where the Minotaur came from to find a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE 33/53. Now head over to the freshly broken wall. Wrap around to the left as another wall falls, it may have already fallen, to find a staircase and a skull on a mantle just to the left of that. Activate the skull and it will ask you to find its bones so he can be freed. Look to the right of the stairs for the RIBCAGE. Now wrap back around and pass the chicken to find a LEG BONE. Now back track over to where the dragon was shot down at and pick up the PELVIS right in front of the rubble. As you head back towards the wall where the Minotaur busted through, look along the right for the other LEG BONE. Now return to the skull and light E'larras arrows with the Emerald Flame. Now head up the stairs and have E'larra light the other skull on fire under the broken floor above, this opens a secret passage. Head down the stairs and inside the secret room for two @CRYSTAL #43 and #44. Talk to the skull here and then head back over to where the chicken is, go all the way to the back and over to the left. Jump the low wall and then push the wall back to reveal @DRAGON TEAR #09/13. Head back up the stairs and squeeze through the broken wall. Move forward and fight off another group of Wargar. Kill off the wave of Wargar downstairs and then head up the stairs before the AI controlled character (If on single player) does so you can quickly sprint to the left and reach a chest full of Gold. To get to it head up the winding path just about halfway and look to your left to see a somewhat long path heading straight to a chest, sprint over to it so the floor doesn't give out while you are on it. Now head all the way to the back and drop down to the first floor again. You will now be on the other side of the burning wall, you will also see Shadow Crawlers coming in to the basement from all around you at the broken edges, drop down and fight them off. Walk around until the wall gets blasted and head out of the basement. As you get out of the basement a short cut scene will start showing you that the Eye of Annuvin can summon enemies. In a future section when you see one again, we will need to kill it before it can summon to receive an achievement! Now kill off the Eye of Annuvin and the Infected Wargar. After they are disposed of another short cut scene will start and another Harridan will appear attacking you. Take out the staffs again like last time and then concentrate on her, repeating as neccessary. Once she is killed head inside the building, not the two person door, and free the @PRISONER #28/32. Now head through the two person door near the prisoners location. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.5.3 - Arches of Fire ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 2 Dragon Tears - 0 Prisoners - 0 Secrets - 1 Puzzles - 0 Gold - 4 Deathstone Corpses - 1 Head up the stairs and crawl through the debris and then drop down to the hallway below. Ahead you will see Wargar fighting a Minotaur, get the Minotaur to destroy the supports to the wooden walkways and you will unlock an achievement. Then kill everyone off. *note that it is at times extremely difficult due to the stupidity of the AI. They always love to but in to the fight with the Minotaur. Easiest to do with a second controller on split screen. /note* @ACHIEVEMENT - Bull in a China Shop Once the battle is done go around the far back right section of the broken building and grab the @CRYSTAL #45. Now head through the broken building on the opposite side to go up the broken wall as a ramp and jump the gap. Drop down the other side in to a nice sized room, right outside you will find another Minotaur fighting more Wargar. Kill them all and take out the archers on the upper floors surrounding the area. You will then see an Ogre, this @#!& just got bigger. Back in the building you came from you will find some Gold as well as a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #34/53. Now head toward the gate that was opened to let more Wargar in, look to the left for a chest of Gold and then head through the gate. Head around the beaten hallway to the left for a @CRYSTAL #46 inside what apparently is SECRET #26/32. Head back and go the other way this time and cross the wooden beam. Now exit the building to reach the Tavern and a cut scene. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.5.4 - The Scarlet Maid Tavern ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 0 Dragon Tears - 1 Prisoners - 1 Secrets - 1 Puzzles - 0 Gold - 2 Deathstone Corpses - 2 Turn around and head back the way you came after the cut scene and search to the right for a DEATHSTONE CORPSE #35/53 and some Gold. Enter the tavern and kill off the Minotaur and Wargar occupying the area. In the corner where the door is leading upstairs where more Wargar come from is a DEATHSTONE CORPSE #36/53. Now look for the urns she was supposed to break. Turn towards the fireplace in this cubbyhole and shoot the urn on the far edge of the shelf. The second is underneath the stairs. Head back to the entryway and turn left down the hallway still inside the tavern. You will find another urn in the far cubbyhole on another shelf. Now head back to the corpse and you will see that the fireplace is now lit. Have E'larra light her arrows and then head over to where you saw the second urn under the stairs, on the opposite wall is a tapestry of the Scarlet Maid, have E'larra light it on fire. Soon after the wall will move and reveal a SECRET #27/32. Inside will be two enchanted weapon racks and a @DRAGON TEAR # 10/13. Now head up the stairs. Watch the cut scene of the ogre as it kills a man around the corner from you. Head in the door on the left for some Wargar and a sack of Gold. Head up the stairs on the other side and watch as a knight gets shot down by archers, then soon after they will get killed by a catapult. Head up the stairs to the next floor. Fight the Zealot and continue through the ruins to drop down the other side of the building. Kill another Wargar and then free the @PRISONER #29/32. Head through the doorway by the prisoner and go over the debris and then squeeze through the tight spaces, now drop down the ledge to the aqueducts. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.5.5 - The King's Tale ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 1 Dragon Tears - 0 Prisoners - 2 Secrets - 0 Puzzles - 0 Gold - 2 Deathstone Corpses - 1 Head left along the walls of the aqueduct and sprint to avoid the catapult fire until you reach a cut scene. Right after the cut scene keep sprinting down the path and another cut scene will start up, you will also unlock an achievement if you didn't get hit by anything. @ACHIEVEMENT - Catch! Head in to the building ahead and a short cut scene will start. Continue through the destruction and drop down to the next level. Head outside and fight the Minotaur and Wargar. Check the right side of the buildings in the cubbys for @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #37/53. Now head across the way and free the @PRISONER #30/32. Now head through the doorway in the back of the area. Read the plaque and then continue down the path to start a cut scene. You learn that the man organizing all these attacks on everyone and getting the Minotaur and Wargar to join together is a mercenary named Annuvin. You also learn that the Lord Mayor's daughter looks nothing like Seraphine. Head up the path and have Caddoc push the wall to your immediate right at the top of the stairs. Drop down the ledge and read the book to continue with the riddle. Take the Gold and then head up the stairs and wrap around the rubble. You will then find a chest with Gold in it and then drop down to fight the Wargar out in the courtyard. Be careful with the walls on your right as they protect you from a arrow firing turret gun. Head over to the left and you will find a @PRISONER #31/32. Now carefully advance on the turret and take them out as more will appear to attack. Get on the turret and mow down the charging enemies from where you came from and then from the gate behind you. Before heading through the gate yourself look near the water for a @CRYSTAL #47. Then have E'larra light her arrows at the bush fire and then light the brazier above where the crystal was sitting. This finishes the riddle and the wife will bring the soldiers shield to you. You will be fighting the Archghoul from Caddoc's nightmares. The demon will be surrounded by a red shield with corpses as its focal points, kill the corpses and the shield will drop. Head to the right of the hole in the wall and go up the hill to cross a tree trunk and get a pile of Gold. Now head through the path the Minotaur has opened up. As you move forward get your crossbow and bow ready to shoot the enemies running along the tree above to take them down in one shot. Fight off the rushing Wargar and then head over to the left to find a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #39/53. Then head up the ramp against the back wall and jump on the flechette gun aiming across the bridge. Open fire on the Wargar as they try to ambush you as you have the advantage. Kill at least 15 enemies here to get an achievement. Stay on the gun as you kill a lot of Wargar followed by a rush of Shadow Crawlers and then some Minotaur. @ACHIEVEMENT - Razor Sharp Head to the right of the flechette gun and cross the tree trunk to reach a treasure chest with Gold and an item canister. Drop down and you'll find two @CRYSTAL #48 and #49. Go over the drawbridge and follow the path and check the @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #40/53 and then jump over the gap. Soon Blastcasters and archers will appear on the right as you fight the first wave. Eventually as you fight a Ghoul will appear with a lot of Zealots. Once most of the Zealots are taken care of more Minotaur will show up. Once they are all dealt with head through the gate and take the two @CRYSTAL #50 and #51 as well as the @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #41/53. Then go through the two person door. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.6.2 - Quarry ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 2 Dragon Tears - 0 Prisoners - 0 Secrets - 0 Puzzles - 0 Gold - 5 Deathstone Corpses - 2 Head past the purple obelisk and stop at the white portal shop again to make some more purchases before heading further in to the cave. Once you leave the cave you will enter a quarry where the prisoners are making large stones, most likely to repair Kala Moor. Head around to the immediate left to open a chest full of Gold. Now go to the right and shimmy past the stones. Head around the lava pit as you fight through the Wargar, archers, Infected Wargar, and a Minotaur will come down the far ramp. Head up the ramp and around the tunnel, exit to the right for a @CRYSTAL #52, some shards, as well as a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #42/53. Now head the other way and shoot the explosives across the pit to drop the massive stones on top of the Wargar standing around. Head up the ramp and in to the door on the left to go up another ramp. Continue around the path and through the open doorway to get to the left for a treasure chest with Gold and another @CRYSTAL #53. Now head through the two person door. You immediately get in to a battle with a Harridan along with a group of Wargar and Zealots ready to beat you to a pulp. Kill them all and then head up either ramp in the back. Go through the door on the left side and then squeeze through the rubble. Head around to the opposite side and pick up the stash of Gold. Now head through the doorway you skipped, down the ramps, and through the two person door. Head down the ramp and smash through the weapon rack to enter the room behind it. Open the treasure chest for some Gold and then continue along the path to see the giant Ogre along with an army running behind it. Now drop down in to the open area and attack the Eyes of Annuvin first. You must kill the eye when it waves its arms and before it moves away to summon an enemy. Doing so will get you an achievement! Afterwards dispose of the rest of the Wargar patrolling the area. Now squeeze through the wood in the middle of the bridge. Take out the Wargar and the one up on the cliff edge shooting the flechette gun to safely move around the area. Go away from the cliff where the gun is to get to a stash of Gold and a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #43/53. Head back towards the cliff and to the right to fight off the Shadow Crawlers, and they have a lot coming. Now duck under the grate to get inside the sewers. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.6.3 - Sewers ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 4 Dragon Tears - 1 Prisoners - 0 Secrets - 3 Puzzles - 0 Gold - 3 Deathstone Corpses - 1 Head past the purple obelisk and if you have enough crystals saved up spend some at the store. Now head through hole in the wall and fight off a big wave of Shadow Crawlers. Now move forward and shoot the explosives to open SECRET #28/32 with @CRYSTAL #54. Now head back to the main room and go up the ramp to continue to the side of the room watching out for the arrows shooting at you. Head to the right and drop down the ledge. Head in to the next large room to fight Skeletons and Shadow Crawlers. When they eventually stop pouring in to the room, check the right side for a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #44/53 and then head over to the two person door to move on to the next area. Fight through the Shadow Crawlers and then go in to the water area. Turn to the right and shoot the explosives to reveal SECRET #29/32 and a @CRYSTAL #55 as well as a stash of Gold. Head back up the ramp and to the left to reach a two person door. Head in to the room and shoot the explosives above to kill all the Wargar in the room and open a way for you to get out of the sewers. Free the @PRISONER #32/32 to earn an achievement. Open the treasure chest for some Gold and then squeeze through the hole in the wall. @ACHIEVEMENT - Late to the Party Kill off the Wargar and Minotaur in the area. Head to the right and you'll run in to more Wargar and another Minotaur. At the top head through the two person door. Turn to the left and start attacking the Wargar as they approach your position, watch out for archers. Now head along the wooden walkway, the path on the lower level eventually breaks on its own making you head up the ramp to your right. Head up the next path watching a Wargar fall to his death as the walkway breaks, check the left wall and have Caddoc push it open. Shoot the explosives to blow open the wall and create a ramp to head down in to SECRET #30/32. Inside the secret area you will find two @CRYSTAL #56 and #57, as well as a @DRAGON TEAR #11/13. Continue up the path fighting through more Wargar. Continue around the wooden path as certain sections fall and you fight off more Blastcasters. Now head up the ramp for a cut scene and enter the next area. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.6.4 - Bridges ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 1 Dragon Tears - 0 Prisoners - 0 Secrets - 0 Puzzles - 0 Gold - 2 Deathstone Corpses - 1 Head forward past the purple obelisk and the white magic shop and go under the rubble to the left. Head down the ramp and attack the Minotaur and the archers. Wrap around the corner and jump the gap. Head down the ramp for a cut scene and then head to the right. Continue all the way down the stairs to fight off the Wargar and archers. Gather the large sack of Gold on the left in this room. Kill the Wargar and Minotaur that attack. Head up from the gold and turn to the right under the stairs to find a DEATHSTONE CORPSE #45/53. Now head to the back corner to locate a pressure plate that will slowly raise a door. As you stand on it to wait more Wargar and Minotaur will come to attack. Go attack them and then get back on the pressure plate to raise it the rest of the way. Now open the two person door it was blocking. Head to the left to find a treasure chest of Gold and then fight off the Zealots and Blastcasters. Head up the stairs to get in to some more fights with the Zealots and at the back of the area head to the left and down the stairs to get @CRYSTAL #58. Now cross the bridge to head deeper in to the area to go through the two person door. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.6.5 - Wall Top ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 0 Dragon Tears - 1 Prisoners - 0 Secrets - 0 Puzzles - 0 Gold - 3 Deathstone Corpses - 3 Head up the stairs and go through the two person door. You must now fight Wargar, Blastcasters, Minotaur, Juggernaut Minotaur, and a Zealot from the left side of the screen coming down the stairs. Deal with them all and head up the stairs and through the door. Go to the @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #46/53 straight ahead and then go up the next set of stairs to enter another two person door. Kill the Blastcasters and Wargar as you make your way around the edge to the next doorway. Kill the Zealot and more Wargar as you get through the doorway. Watch out for the Wargar on the rapid firing arrow launcher. Take over this gun as soon as possible to take down the rest of the enemies as they charge at you from the direction you came from. Head back the way you came but go to the left before you head through the door and drop down below for some Gold. Follow the path around and get the @DRAGON TEAR #12/13. Now move forward and drop down to some nice rare items. Go up the stairs and head through the two person door. Now head along the path and drop down the hole at the other end. Get over to the hole in the wall and head through. Inside the cathedral you will fight a Harridan, after the battle some Wargar will open the gates and rush in to attack. Around the back corner is a stash of Gold and a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #47/53. Exit through the gates the Wargar opened and get to the back and to the right for a cut scene. Fight through the waves of Shadow Crawlers and a Ghoul. Once done head through the two person door to get another cut scene. Open the chest near the man for some Gold and then head up the stairs. Check the @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #48/53 right before entering the door on the left side of the path. Head through the two person door in the next room. In this hallway you have a Sleg Vat right in front of you and a huge group of Wargar, archers, and Minotaur heading straight for you. Dodge its large attacks and once in a while you must change ballista cannons as it flies to the side you are at. Head down the hill to the bridge as a Wargar Infected sounds an alarm in a cut scene. Kill the Wargar, Zealots, and Juggernaut Elite as you watch out for the dragon thats attacking along the side of the bridge. Just before reaching Kala Moor's Keep go to the right once you take out the swarm of enemies. Over here you will find a @CRYSTAL #61 and a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #49/53 and then head through the door for a cut scene. At the gate go left to reach an Ancient One, you will need all three spheres from the three brothers tombs at this point to enter their fathers crypt. Read the book on the left just before the purple obelisk for a clue to the puzzle. Head forward in to the next section. Go over to the right pillar and have Caddoc push it. Then have someone shoot one rope on the large shield to have it dangle on the side, this will ignite the fire. Now have E'larra shoot an arrow through the fire in to the mouth of the statue face. Now look to the left of the column on the floor for a small circle pressure plate somewhat hidden in the tiles, stand on it and look across the room diagonally so you face to the left of the other column. You should then be able to tell the other person to go stand on that switch on the other side, otherwise you may have to find it and then face the other that you already located. This activates the other brazier. Have E'larra shoot an arrow through the fire an in to the other statues mouth. Head straight across the bridge to the bronze gate and it will automatically open for you. As Caddoc comments on finding the Skeletons the tomb will raise and you must fight the three brothers father. Soon in to the battle more Skeletons join in to the fight. Once they are all dealt with take the CROWN. Exit this room the way you came and go to the left to unlock the next large bronze door. Inside this treasure vault take the @CRYSTAL #62, #63, #64, the five Gold stashes, as well as some really good weapons for each player. This solves the final PUZZLE #8/8. Now head out of the fathers tomb and move on down the path under the gate. Kill the Wargar, Minotaur and Zealots and then check out the @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #50/53 back in the corner. Move on and under the next gate. Make quick work of the Wargar and two Wargar Infected as an elevator comes up with two Juggernaut Elites. Once the battles over get on the lift and watch the cut scene. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.7.2 - Lower Holding Pens ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 1 Dragon Tears - 0 Prisoners - 0 Secrets - 1 Puzzles - 0 Gold - 1 Deathstone Corpses - 0 You will once again have a purple obelisk and the white magic shop. Move forward through the tiny gap. Move forward and watch the Ogre as a Wargar Infected sounds an alarm. Head in to battle against some Wargar and Minotaur. Now head around to the left in to the corner by the cages for a crystal shard. Head up the ramp on the other side to fight across the small bridge. Head to the right fighting through a lot of Zealots and some more Juggernaut Elites. Head to the right and look for another crystal shard on the right inbetween the cages. Head up the ramp for another Zealot and some enchanted weapons, a @CRYSTAL #65, and a stash of Gold inside SECRET #31/32. Now head back to the main area and go up the main ramp to get a cut scene. Head through the tunnel to a large cave filled with Dragons flying around and some Zealots on the path. Go to the left and hang out behind the watch tower for a little bit to have a Dragon shoot at you destroying the tower and giving you an achievement for it. Head down the path to fight more enemies and then head in to the tunnel on the side where they came out of to move on. @ACHIEVEMENT - I'll Huff and I'll Puff... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.7.3 - Elevator Pens ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 0 Dragon Tears - 1 Prisoners - 0 Secrets - 1 Puzzles - 0 Gold - 2 Deathstone Corpses - 1 Go past the purple obelisk and white magic shop to squeeze through another gap. You will have archers in the towers, Zealots rushing you, and an Archghoul will eventually manifest. Afterwards head in the back left corner and get the crystal shard and have E'larra light her arrows. Now go in the gap in the wall and have E'larra light the brazier which opens the path around the corner to your left to allow Caddoc to push the pillars over. Collect the @DRAGON TEAR #13/13 and a stash of Gold inside this final SECRET #32/32. This also unlocks an achievement. Now take the elevator down to continue. @ACHIEVEMENT - Don't Cry, Little Dragon Smash any skullpots you run by and go in to the open spot ahead to fight a Harridan. As you fight the Harridan more Wargar will jump down from the cages all around you. Take them all on and then the gate around the corner will open releasing more Wargar in to the fight. At the beginning of the room on the right is some explosives against the wall you have to shoot to reveal a treasure chest of Gold. Now head around the corner and go through the new opening. You will pass a purple obelisk and the white magic portal shop. Head through the tight squeeze ahead. Head down the hallway to have a wall on the left smash open releasing more Wargar in to the room. Quickly run over to the flechette gun on the far end to dispose of the Wargar, Juggernaut Elites, and Zealots. Head through the path they came from and go left to activate a @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #51/53. Now head to the right and go across the narrow ledge. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.7.4 - Depths ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 2 Dragon Tears - 0 Prisoners - 0 Secrets - 0 Puzzles - 0 Gold - 1 Deathstone Corpses - 0 Head past another white magic portal shop and the purple obelisk and drop down a ledge. Now you must fight more Wargar Zealots around the corner. Quickly run around to the right and grab the CRYSTAL SHARD JAR for a piece of crystal and then turn around and take cover as archers open fire. Kill the Juggernaut Elite and archers as you make your way across the bridge. You will find an Enchanted Weapon rack right before you head down the hill towards more archers. Get to the end of the path and collect the crystal shard, but watch out for the dragon as it shoots electric balls at you. Now head off the side path and look to the left for a crystal shard pot. Drop down the ledge and head through the small space. Kill off the archers and cross the bridge towards the large doors for a cut scene. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.7.5 - Dungeons ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crystals - 2 Dragon Tears - 0 Prisoners - 0 Secrets - 0 Puzzles - 0 Gold - 0 Deathstone Corpses - 1 Head down the hallway and grab the two @CRYSTALs #68 and #69 this will also get you the achievement! @ACHIEVEMENT - Crystal Clear Head further down and check the right side for a dragon skull to get another @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #52/53 and then squeeze through the crack in the wall. Fight off the Infected Wargar, Wargar, and Archers. Head through the hallways and then you will enter another large room. Smash all the pots and the Enchanted Weapons racks. Now head in to fight more Infected Wargar, Zealots, and soon after an Archghoul. Now head up the stairs and through the gate that was opened on the left side of the room. Head along the halls and check the left side for the last @DEATHSTONE CORPSE #53/53 and an achievement to go along with it. @ACHIEVEMENT - It's All a Top Priority Now head to the right side and go down the stairs to meet the final boss. Watch the cut scene and then you will be fighting Annuvin. He will have skeletons summoned at all times during. He will spit Sleg around you and it will explode shortly after. You will need to run away from the area to avoid damage. Annuvin will also scoop his hands in to the Sleg and slam his hands together making a shockwave effect, you must hide behind cover or a pillar to avoid damage. His third attack is shooting ghost skulls at you, simply dodge them to avoid damage. Stay under cover and shoot arrows at Annuvin until his health is down a quarter of the way. He will then suck health out of a random pillar. You must then have Caddoc run to that pillar and push it over while it is regenerating his health to crush it. Repeat until all four pillars are destroyed. Once all the pillars are destroyed you can deliver the final blows to Annuvin. Watch the nice cut scene which depends on whether or not you drank Sleg or not. ARACKLING CRAWLER ----------------- Resistant Against - Nothing Vulnerable Against - Dragon's Breath Best strategy is to just kill them old school with melee attacks, they can at times be a bit of a challenge to shoot with a ranged attack. Block when they leap at you. ARCHGHOUL --------- Resistant Against - Arctic Arrow (Immune), Ice Weapons (Immune), Pyre Blast (Immune), Brimstone (Immune), Wind of Wrath (Immune Tier 1) Vulnerable Against - Dragon's Breath (+20%) You must first destroy all the bodies surrounding the Archghoul and its shield to make it vulnerable to your attacks. BLIND DRAGON ------------ Resistant Against - Nothing Vulnerable Against - Ballista Jump on the Ballista opposite where the dragon sits and hammer it with fire as quickly as possible until the Blind Dragon focuses its attacks on you. Get out of the way of the blasts and get to the other side to launch more attacks on it with the second ballista; alternate until it is destroyed. DREAD ----- Resistant Against - Arcane Burst and Sigil of Pain Vulnerable Against - Brimstone, Dash, and Pyre Blast Use fire arrows on the Dread and have each character take turns attacking so the heat isn't focused on just one of them. Get to each wall as fast as you can waiting for them to fall down so you can continue on to the next section. At the end jump on the ballista and shoot at the Queen of Darkness. SHADOW CRAWLER -------------- Resistant Against - None Vulnerable Against - Dragon's Breath Just use melee attacks and keep blocking as they usually move to fast for your arrows to hit them. SKELETON -------- Resistant Against - Arcane Burst, Primal Rage (Immune to taunt), Sigil of Pain Vulnerable Against - Dash, Dragon's Breath Avoid using Arcade magic as they are resistant to it. Use Dash and Dragon's Breath as it will quickly shatter the enemies.
