Come and Read my Second Interview at IGN posted 12/26/2008 5:08:44 PM
Thought some of my suscribers might enjoy reading this (CH is mentioned):
For this Christmas, IGN talks with our good buddy Berkserker Kev, known for his balls-to-the-wall coverage of games such as Lost Planet, Dead Space, Silent Hill Homecoming, Devil May Cry 4, Siren Blood Curse, and much more (check his FAQ list for the whole kaboodle).
By the way, what happened to my other two suscribers (used to have nine)? Hey, it's only been eight months since my last post here. Oh well, their loss.

Just wanted to make a small mention (no)... call your attention to (no..)... flat-out plug (HELL YEAH!) my new Featured Guide on this site for God of War: Chains of Olympus to all four of my subscribers.
Have any of you played the demo of this yet? What are your thoughts?
I'm a pretty big fan of the older Turok games, mainly the first game and it seems to take some good elements from the first game:
- dinos have overreacted deaths - plenty of gore - plenty of weapons to choose from
I also like how tough the dinos are. Good god these things are vicious! The new grab attacks with the knife are definitely sweet. There are plenty of different grabs with the knife, their not all the same even per dino.
The only problem I see so far is the overall evironment. The surroundings look rather plain - especially the caves (mainly the cave walls). Hopefully this is just because I'm playing the demo version. It looks to be a good single player experience so far.
Ah, the game does indeed get better during the second half. There are a few more puzzles and much more platforming in the later areas. The combat might be frequent, but it does feel quite rewarding once you get the true hang of it. There is even a new enemy type later in the game that really changes combat - fighting to keep the current gun loaded really builds the intensity of the later fights quite well.
The final area was awesome also. Without giving too much away, it was a very intense level and quite pleasing to the eyes.
Overall, it was a pretty good game. Glad I stuck with it. Might play through it again eventually to get the rest of those treasures. I got 45 out of 60 on my first time through.
