Call me old fashioned but I just wanted to see if anyone dusted off their old copy of the original SC just to catch up on the story and characters? Personally I am going to play SC and SC:BW before getting in too deep. More fun that way. Any thoughts?

What disappoints me is that the developer are making individual titles for each and every campaign, why not release all three in one package?

And yes, even I did re-install the original one right now, enjoying it!

@HonestGamer you make a good point. I do see some value in Blizzard breaking up the game to really tell a good story, like LOTR saga type approach. Also I will agree that it has to do with the money. BUT.... Is it this, or would rather have a crap load of DLC stuff that you get nickel and dimed for. Now thats something that peews me off. Like ME2, Why can't you just allow the weapons from the get go. I played ME2 with no DLC whatsoever and will not pay for any of it.

What do you guys think, is Blizzards idea any good? At least we can expect and demand a good expanding story in each races iteration.

blizz said because if they were to include all three campaigns (remember the one in WoL is about as long as the original starcrafts. around 30 missions) the game would take a lot longer to release, also they felt that they might want to use the expansions to implement more updates like maybe new units.

Personally I like it. I think they did it because they wanted to make a staggeringly epic game and didn't want to keep us waiting while they sorted everything out and mebe give them time to put in even more goodies. I think all 3 expansions are going to be worth every penny and I won't hesitate to buy em

Also what the previous guy said WOL is about as long as all 3 original starcraft campaigns don't let the lack of other race campaigns fool you you are hardly being cheated for your money you are simply paying more for more.
