Regarding the Mega Trainer 1.3.1416 (FLAK ED.), Unlimited Health in Flak Missions, ....

I've downloaded both v1.3.1416 trainers and neither of them work for me. If I load them before launching the game, the game will crash everytime without even loading properly. If I launch the game first, then the trainer it doesn't affect anything. I will hear the 'Activated' confirmation that the cheat has been used (I try the money cheat first to test it) and the balance at the start of the game still says $1000. None of the other cheats work either. What am I doing wrong, or how can I correct this so I can use the trainers? Your help is greatly appreciated.

P.S.
Is this the same issue that required everyone else to use the no/cd fix? Cause I own the retail version of the game and have the disk.

yes, use the no-cd fix.

Ok, thanks I'll try that. And I forgot to mention that I'm not using Vista. I've got XP. If that matters?

I have the same issue.. have the flak trainer... have the game patched to 1.3, copied over the no-cd fix, but the trainer just doesnt work.

I dont even get the 'ACTIVATED' message.

btw, I'm using Win7, but runnign the game in XP compatability

just noticed the trainer doesnt fully load.. been waiting 5 mins, and it is STILL saying 'DarkStarOne.exe loading!

have tried both running traininer then game, and running the game THEN the trainer.
