Hmm that doesn't sound right about the escort mission. I play on normal and I got a few minutes to train some firebats/marines/medics and I have them follow the tank while I build more troops. I even got to build a few bunkers.
Are you using any cheats at all when trying those missions? Cos maybe the resources might be trigging the event to start earlier?
Trust is a fragile thing. Once trust is lost, it can be impossible to recover. Those we're closest to can betray us,and total strangers can come to our rescue. In the end, most people decide to trust only themselves. It really is the simplest way to keep from getting burned.

Jamie K said, "I cheat because it only affects me and i only play for the story, same thing with Red alert 3, i cheated on that on the single player, same thing with the other C&C games, same thing with other games and games with no single player campaigns at all, i don't even bother buying."

Cheers to ya brother! I agree with you one hundred percent.
That is the smartest thing I have ever heard anyone say about anything.

Normal SP isn't 'that' hard. I personally think the campaign is designed for players to learn essential skills to play.

Time limit is there for you to learn to manage time and use your limited units you built wisely and safely.

Like I said earlier. I posted this in the first place for getting achievement sake (need to clear brutal campaign for Kerrigan's portrait). Now I need just to get better (or possibly mad)

I fended off that first transport ship on Brutal without losing it. You need to buy the stim pack and abuse it to fend off the zerg.

When you approach the doctor you gain those buildings. IMMEDIATELY build a marine and an SCV. Once that marine is done, you should be able to pop out another marine. That and your initial firebat and medic are enough to drive off anything during the first ship.
    Your bitterness, I will dispel

The funny thing is, when i use the trainer, i have no problems, i can have bunkers and all that made before the first transport is moving. lol

But when i am not using any trainer or cheats what so ever, i have around 5-10 seconds before the starts moving.

I just spent 3 hours beating Haven's Fall on Brutal. I didn't fail the map once, but it was 3 hours of hell .

For the relics, dont go for the closest one straight away. They dont start the closing of the relics until you have 2 I believe.

So you get as far up as you can build a couple of bunkers house em with grunts, and then work on getting the relics. That way the closer ones are easier to defend, dont worry losing your northern bunkers as you will never hold them.

As for the trains, they should not start right away, you should have a few minutes before they start moving, the latter trains do move quick.

But you have to find those extra tanks for free, your jump troops are great for that.

When your going to attack the first train, have a force to go to east parts of the map and clear them out, it saves time and annoyance later on.

As said you just cant mass attack everything, old SC1 yes perhaps, but this one takes more thought and better planning of your troops.

And you think those are hard, wait till the last few end missions they are tough, wave after wave after wave.

The toughest mission is the last of Zeratul's dream maps, where you have to kill a mass of zerg to win the map and hopefully keep up your archive for 25 minutes. Its constant rebuilding of troops that one.
Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA
