I'm looking for a game to kill my free period. Currently looking for a game that's on PC platform. I

Knights of the Old Republic. Old, but freaking awesome. And yeah. I'm a bit behind the times. Link This perfectly explains my situation.

I wonder why no one has mentioned Mass Effect.

Play the first one before you go on with the second. I think this is the best RPG game so far.

Others include: Fallout 3, Oblivion, Dragon Age: Origins, Alpha Protocol (Average game, but playable for RPG lovers) and The Witcher - Enhanced Edition.

Life is best for those who enjoy it, difficult for those who analyze it and worst for those who criticize it.

well...i think the reason y nobody's mentioned Mass Effect is because its not a pure RPG..its sort of a hybrid between TPS/RPG. DAO is a good candidate.

Knights of the Old Republic. Any Bioware game for the PC is good though.

From shianova's list I highly recommend Gothic 3 and Diablo 2.
